🐾 Meet Sweet Potato — Available for Adoption 🐾 Sweet Potato is a precious 5-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix weighing just 13 pounds who recently came to FairyTails from the large hoarding case we assisted with. This little girl arrived very sick, and right now her biggest job is simply healing. ❤️ She has been recovering in a loving foster home while we work to get her healthy, comfortable, and feeling like herself again. Sweet Potato is very reserved and quiet. Part of that is because she still doesn’t feel her best, and part of it is simply because of everything she has experienced. Coming from a large hoarding situation into a completely new world is a huge adjustment, and she deserves a family who understands that trust may take a little time. We believe there is a sweet little personality waiting to blossom as she continues to heal and learns that she is finally safe. Her adoption fee is $425, which doesn’t even begin to cover the veterinary expenses FairyTails has invested in getting her healthy and ready for her next chapter. Sweet Potato doesn’t need someone expecting a perfect dog on day one—she needs someone willing to give a little 13-pound girl the patience, security, and love she has probably never known. 🥔💕🐾

✨🪄 BASILISK — A FANTASTIC BEAST IN SEARCH OF A HOME 🪄✨ Straight from a story no creature should ever have to live through, Basilisk is one of the dogs rescued from the recent 227 dog Metcalfe County hoarding case. Now this little Fantastic Beast is ready for some magic of her own. 💫🐾 🐶 Female Pug/chihuahua mix (best guess) 🎂 Approximately 2 years old ⚖️ 18 pounds ❤️ Sweet, resilient & healing Basilisk came to us suffering from demodectic mange, but her skin is healing beautifully and she’s well on her way to becoming the gorgeous little creature we knew was hiding underneath. ✨ Unfortunately, Basilisk also tested heartworm positive. FairyTails has already started her on the road to recovery and we will see her through her treatment. 🏡 She CAN be adopted during treatment! Her adopter will either need to live close enough to Georgetown, KY to continue treatment with our veterinarian, OR work with their own veterinarian and assume the remaining treatment costs. She may have arrived a little beauty-challenged, but give this Fantastic Beast a little time, love and healing…and just watch the transformation. ❤️‍🩹✨ Basilisk survived the bad part of her story.
