Story
We have been fostering King since mid-December of 2025. His owner passed away unexpectedly, and he spent a brief time with a family friend. The friend was not able to keep him as she lives in an apartment and King was anxious with new sights and sounds and barked a great deal. We took in King as we already had another pug and agreed to try fostering for a few months. He is an unusual dog, in that he does not engage in play and does not engage with our other pug. He is rather independent and would do better in a home with no other pets. He had lived for nearly 5 years with a much older owner, who had limited mobility. He is very food motivated and is a healthy eater. He has had a regular Vet and is up to date on all shots, is neutered and has a microchip. We do not believe we are the best home for King as we live in a busy neighborhood. He barks a lot during the day and is often anxious. He would also do best in a quiet home. He is housebroken if kept on a regular schedule.
