Story
I’m looking to find a safe rescue placement for Rowdy, he has a bonded female Paisley also listed, who recently lost their longtime owner. I know the deceased owner and her family do not want these dogs in a shelter or pound setting. Their owner, Peggy, passed away, leaving the dogs without a permanent home. I stepped in as their temporary caregiver. The previous owner’s family cannot take her dogs. They want to take them in to be euthanized to be with their owner, and I am doing everything I can to see if we can find them a home and keep them alive. I can take care of them temporarily, but this cannot be a long-term arrangement due to their safety. I have two large dogs, and a neighbor dog that is aggressive, and need to be kept separate. Rowdy is about 10 years old, neutered, and believed to be a Pug/Chihuahua mix. He is still active, affectionate, loves to snuggle and wants to be close to his person. He is very frightened by storms and can mark inside on occasion.
