APPLICATIONS CLOSEDHi! My name is MimiMy foster family has many loving nicknames for me, like Tiny Dancer, Mimaroni, Tato, and Cutie Pie. ❤️ I’m feeling great now that I’m done having babies and am recovering well from my spay and dental cleaning.I love being the center of attention, going for walks in nature, and running with my foster mom's other dogs. When I’m not playing, you can find me sleeping in a soft nest or snuggling up with my foster mom. I especially love being carried; it makes me feel safe and gives me a great view to show my gratitude with plenty of kisses.Being a one-eyed dog doesn't stop me from doing all the normal dog things! It is helpful if my humans walk on my right side so I can see you without having to turn my head. I adore people, dogs, kids, and even friendly, gentle cats. Because I’m so tiny and flat-faced, it’s important that my new friends are gentle and friendly too.I’ve almost figured out house training, though I still have the occasional accident. My foster family takes me out several times a day so I can find the perfect spot. I always stay very close to my humans when we are outside. I am also okay with alone time and will sleep quietly until you return, at which point I’ll greet you with my happy dance on two legs!My foster mom says my cuteness can't even be captured on camera. Everyone who meets me wants to cuddle and kiss my soft little face! Not one to brag but foster mom tell me I'm PERFECT! Mimi’s Ideal Home 🩷Would do well in any home setting — city, suburban, or ruralSuitable for apartments, condos, semis, or detached homesLoves everyone — kids, teens, adults, and seniorsBest with small to medium dogs due to her tiny size (13 lbs, short legs, one eye), though she is friendly with large dogs tooNo prey drive; could likely live with small animalsNeeds only 15–30 minute walks plus lots of cuddle timeFavourite things: snuggling, sniffy walks, running with dog friends, and chicken treatsNo resource guarding or leash aggressionWould likely enjoy dog parks, but rough play with large dogs may not be idealBest in a home where someone isn’t away for very long hours every dayComfortable alone for about 4–6 hoursStill working on house training and leash manners, but redirects easilyNot noise sensitive and does not chase cars or bikesMild attachment barking when her favourite person leaves, but settles quicklyLOVES being held and will stand on her back legs asking for cuddles or treatsFollows very closely behind her people — tiny shadow alert!Overall: a loving, affectionate “perfect little squish” looking for a family to spoil her with cuddles 💕*Located in Oro-Medonte

Story
🐾 Bowie | ~3 Years Old | Pug Cross“He’s a lover and a fighter!”Meet Bowie — a big personality in a small body! This quirky little pug cross is equal parts cuddly companion and fearless protector. He loves his people deeply and is happiest right by your side—true master clinger and professional cuddler. Those soulful eyes make him hard to resist!Bowie has bursts of energy and would thrive with an active family who can offer daily playtime, structured walks, and a yard to explore. When he’s not on patrol for “monsters,” he’s proudly carrying toys, chewing, or barking at squirrels and shadows.Smart and food-motivated, Bowie already knows commands like sit and crate (“in”), and is working on stay and come. Puzzle toys and training games are great for his busy mind. He’ll do best in a detached home, as he can be vocal and gets anxious in busy shared spaces. Bowie can be reactive on leash and may challenge other pets, so slow introductions and a calm, balanced dog are key—dog parks aren’t his scene.Bowie can be protective of food and toys, so he eats safely in his crate and needs a family committed to continued training and proper management. He may see strangers as “intruders” at first, but with guidance, he can learn to trust. He is crate trained, house trained, and can settle in his crate for up to 5 hours. Bowie does have some anxiety and takes medication to help him relax. Chewing is one of his favorite stress relievers, so sturdy toys—and a dog-proofed home without easy access to chewable items—are a must.Despite his tough side, Bowie’s greatest trait is his devotion. He loves being close and will happily curl up beside you after a day of adventures. Oh—and he’s a bit of a prankster, known for stealing toys and keeping everyone on their toes!Ideal Home:✔ Active family✔ Detached home with yard✔ Experienced owners committed to training✔ Possibly a calm dog (with slow introductions)Not Ideal For:✖ Dog parks✖ Apartments/condos✖ Homes unable to manage guarding or training needs💙 If you’re looking for a loyal, funny, slightly dramatic sidekick, Bowie might just be your guy. 🐶Located in Belleville

APPLICATIONS CLOSED MAY 7Hey you. Yes—you. Do you enjoy having absolutely no personal space and being loved like it’s a full-time job? Perfect. I’m your girl. 💁‍♀️I’m a Boston Terrier mix with a strong set of thighs and an even stronger need to be as close to you as physically possible at all times. Sitting beside you? Weird. Sitting on you? Correct.A few things about me: • I LOVE humans. All of them. Instantly. • I’m affectionate, playful, and very confident • Cuddles and kisses are my primary hobbiesI do have a bit of “main character energy”: • I get excited and can be a little jumpy • I pull on leash (the world is thrilling, okay??) • Squirrels are my sworn enemies • “Personal space” sounds fakeBut I’m also a smart cookie: • Crate trained ✔️ • Good recall to a whistle ✔️ • I can settle once I’ve burned off energy (this takes approximately two minutes )✔️ • I approach new things with curious bravery ✔️I’d love to be your one-and-only so I can soak up all your attention, although I can learn to share with the right guidance.Bonus feature: when I get really excited, I do this funny reverse sneeze thing. It’s basically my way of saying “I LOVE EVERYTHING!!”So… if you’re looking for a clingy, hilarious, big-hearted best friend…I’m already obsessed with you*located in Burllington
