Story
Boo is a sweet and gentle 7 year old girl who is ready to find a loving home where she can enjoy a relaxed and cozy life. With her soft personality and affectionate nature, Boo quickly becomes a very special companion. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, sometimes choosing to hang back at first, but once she feels comfortable her loving personality shines through. Boo warms up quickly and soon seeks out pets, belly rubs, and lap cuddles. She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she can relax nearby for a nap or some quiet time together. In her foster home, Boo has proven to be an easy and pleasant housemate. She can be left either in a crate or with free roam of the house for several hours without getting into mischief, and she does not show signs of separation anxiety. She is generally quiet and enjoys a peaceful routine. Boo is mostly house trained, though she occasionally has nighttime accidents, but with a consistent schedule, she continues to do well. She enjoys a daily walk using a harness and loves spending time in the yard where she can run around a little, but Boo is not a high-energy dog. She is happiest living the life of a couch potato - napping, cuddling, and simply being close to her people.Boo has shown friendly curiosity toward other dogs and may do well with a calm canine companion. She has not met children yet, but because she can be shy at first, she would likely do best with older, respectful kids who will give her time to settle in. Boo also has a few adorable quirks. She sometimes likes to gently hold your hand or fingers in her mouth while giving kisses, and may do little “air bites” as if she’s chatting with you. It’s simply her playful and affectionate way of communicating. Boo would thrive in a home with a single person, couple, family, or seniors who are looking for a calm and loving companion. If you’re searching for a sweet, gentle dog to share quiet moments and lots of affection, Boo could be the perfect match! Please note that due to the high volume of applications our volunteers process, we will only contact those with a strong potential for a successful match.
