Story
Chicken Noodle Boop is a very special dog with special needs. She was used as a breeder despite her physical issues. When she arrived in rescued we took her to Animal Welfare and Rehabilitation Center to diagnose her inability to stand and her "wobbliness". They found that she had lesions on her C1 and C5 and recommended monthly acupuncture and some medications. She has been on this regiment for a few months and is doing great. Here is what her foster says her typical schedule looks like: She is woken up around 6am for her first meal & then drinks some water & goes back to bed under her blanket in her playpen where she sleeps the majority of the day while we're at work. We come home & clean up any pee or poop from the day & give her water. Then we'll make her dinner & she'll hang out with us and watch TV for the evening on the sofa. If she starts licking her lips, she is typically thirsty (or hungry). If she starts getting wiggly for no reason, she likely needs to use the bathroom which she does in her playpen. She will likely not be able to be potty trained as she has a bathroom dance. She gets on her side & pulls her back legs into her belly & then does the bicycle move to help her pee or poop. Dr Sangid wants her to have acupuncture monthly. She is taking herbs. She is given miralax a couple times a week to help her poop. She loves to get little doggy massages & cuddling next to her person when it's tv time. She enjoys sitting outside on a nice day. She likes the whipped cream treat at Starbucks. She loves to burrow under her blanket in her playpen to sleep. She has C1 & C5 lesions, but is now able to hold her head still. She can also sit herself up on one elbow. Chicken Noodle Boop is extremely loving and would enjoy living in any household. We do not think she will ever be able to walk or use a wheelchair so an apartment would be sufficient for her. We recommend a Knoxville adopter or someone else who has access to a vet who can perform acupuncture.

Story
Ginger🩷 Photos & Profile updated: 4/8/2026 12/10/2023 Thats when Ginger first came to our rescue. She was a pregnant dog living amongst a yard full of 70+ dogs . Shortly after arriving, Ginger gave us 9 babies. All of which who found homes not long after. Ginger however, years later is still in our care 💔 Ginger is 25lbs and a mix of pug, pit and chihuahua. Shes around 5 years of age these days but certainly doesn't act it. Ginger is a very shy girl who is still learning to fully trust humans after a few years of living with no socializing at all. Ginger likes to hang out with the other dogs more then she wants to seek out human companionship, but shes been coming around more lately since the adoption of Harper (her sister). Ginger is going to require a patient home and she does have a few requirements that must be met in order to be considered to adopt her. Ginger will need a fenced in yard✔️ Ginger will require another dog or 2 in the home ✔️ Ginger will require no kids under 10 🚫 Ginger will not be suitable for apartments🚫 Ginger is not fully house broken but she is more so then not, she just needs a more steady routine with potty time then she gets here. Ginger needs leash training , she is still scared of walking on a leash, hence requiring a fenced in yard for her to enjoy. Ginger can be very barkative, she is not a quiet girl if someone comes over, she let's the whole neighborhood know( hence the no apartments) Ginger seems to only seek human attention and comfort in the events of thunderstorms, gun shots, fireworks, any big booms and then she'd like to be your friend, otherwise she rather just hang out with the other dogs in her family. Ginger is cat friendly. Ginger loves to lick the windows sometimes( idk why, she just does) 🤣 Gingers adoption fee is waived to a perfect home. Ginger is currently being fostered in Cosby Tennessee and we do adopt out of state. Ginger is spayed✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Utd on vaccines, deworming, prevention ✔️ Heartworm negative ✔️ If after reading all about Ginger you'd like to meet her, please fill out the attached dog application and then reach out to us 💖🤞 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lUGf-qd2V00UYrClG8nOqg8OeDKuugX-Cesc7Hqw_oc/viewform?edit_requested=true&fbclid=IwVERDUARDWgVleHRuA2FlbQIxMABzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAwzNTA2ODU1MzE3MjgAAR4lPTW7tDyZP_RwO9NfkL3qznCZDBaYlAtRxPr8acJIBOMmHtaKor4wJygFQw_aem_kw-lJHCKkckU72ldq2NtSA
