Thats when Ginger first came to our rescue. She was a pregnant dog living amongst a yard full of 70+ dogs . Shortly after arriving, Ginger gave us 9 babies. All of which who found homes not long after. Ginger however, years later is still in our care 💔
Ginger is 25lbs and a mix of pug, pit and chihuahua. Shes around 5 years of age these days but certainly doesn't act it. Ginger is a very shy girl who is still learning to fully trust humans after a few years of living with no socializing at all. Ginger likes to hang out with the other dogs more then she wants to seek out human companionship, but shes been coming around more lately since the adoption of Harper (her sister). Ginger is going to require a patient home and she does have a few requirements that must be met in order to be considered to adopt her.
Ginger will need a fenced in yard✔️
Ginger will require another dog or 2 in the home ✔️

Ginger will not be suitable for apartments🚫
Ginger is not fully house broken but she is more so then not, she just needs a more steady routine with potty time then she gets here. Ginger needs leash training , she is still scared of walking on a leash, hence requiring a fenced in yard for her to enjoy. Ginger can be very barkative, she is not a quiet girl if someone comes over, she let's the whole neighborhood know( hence the no apartments) Ginger seems to only seek human attention and comfort in the events of thunderstorms, gun shots,fireworks, any big booms and then she'd like to be your friend, otherwise she rather just hang out with the other dogs in her family. Ginger is cat friendly. Ginger loves to lick the windows sometimes( idk why, she just does) 🤣
Gingers adoption fee is waived to a perfect home. Ginger is currently being fostered in Cosby Tennessee and we do adopt out of state.
