Mickey is spunky, loving, and absolutely hilarious — the kind of dog who keeps life fun and never lets you get bored. He’s full of personality and will definitely keep you on your toes, whether that’s with his antics, zoomies, or perfectly timed silly moments. This boy loves his people and brings big energy and big heart wherever he goes. He’s the type of companion who turns ordinary days into something to laugh about and smile through. Mickey will need a cat-free home, where he can focus all his love and enthusiasm on his humans. Good with cats,
Story
She has been dealt some rough cards in life, and right now, she is still trying to figure out if people are safe. She keeps to herself, watches from a distance, and needs a slow hand, a quiet voice, and a whole lot of patience. But dogs like Poppy are not “too far gone.” They are the ones who make rescue feel sacred. Because one day, with the right person, she will take a step closer. One day, she may accept a treat from your hand. One day, she may choose to lay near you instead of away from you. And every tiny piece of trust she gives will feel like winning the lottery. Poppy is dog friendly, but she does not seem especially bonded to the others. She is her own little soul, quietly trying to survive the big feelings that come after a hard past. She needs someone who understands that love is not always instant. Sometimes love is sitting nearby and asking for nothing. Sometimes love is giving a scared dog the dignity of time.

Story
Meet Timo Male DOB: October 06, 2025 Weight: 14 pounds (small) Breed: Pug Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Timo is a charming young dog with a happy personality, playful spirit, and affectionate nature. At 8 months old, he is still very much a puppy and is at a wonderful age for bonding, learning, and discovering the world around him. He enjoys attention, companionship, and being involved in family activities. Timo is eager to learn and would thrive in a home that can provide structure, guidance, and plenty of love as he continues to mature. As a Pug mix, Timo may show traits such as: A loving and people-oriented personality Playful and affectionate energy Strong attachment to his family Social and companion-focused behavior Intelligence and eagerness to learn Pug mixes are often devoted companions who enjoy being close to their people and thrive when included as part of the family. Timo would thrive in a home prepared for: Continued puppy training and guidance Daily walks and exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his physical and emotional well-being Young dogs require time, patience, training, supervision, and financial commitment as they continue growing and developing. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Young dogs especially still require continued guidance, structure, patience, and supervision as they mature. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Adopting a young dog means being prepared for: Potty training reinforcement and occasional accidents Leash training and obedience work Jumping and playful puppy behavior Continued socialization and confidence-building Daily exercise, structure, and supervision Routine veterinary care Financial commitment throughout the dog's lifetime Timo will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, dogs like Timo blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Timo will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because Timo is still a young dog, consistency and structure are especially important in helping him mature into a confident and well-balanced adult dog. As a Pug mix, care should also be taken during hot weather, and adopters should monitor for overheating during exercise and outdoor activities. Timo is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Jackie (formal name, Jacqueline Kennedy) is the new First Lady around MAS Bully Rescue! She is a 4 year old English Bulldog looking for a soft spot to land and a kind family to love her forever. Chronically overbred and abused, Jackie is quiet and submissive, but desperate for love and affection from the people around her. She is currently being fostered in a San Antonio, Texas home with other dogs and cats and is doing remarkably well. She's not overly interested in "playing" with the other animals, but doesn't mind their existence around her - she's much more interested in the people! Jackie is healthy, exceptionally sweet, and looking for a lap to lay in and a gentle hand to pet her, forever and ever! Think Jackie is the missing piece to your family? Apply online today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/6476b07912357a9a4606eddf/6a24e649bda4f4f65f012f25

Story
Cooley is the coolest dog - obviously! But really, in all seriousness, Cooley is a fantastic guy! He is a 3 year old "XL Bully" (i.e., American Bully x Bulldog cross) looking for a forever family. He is neutered, vaccinated, and healthy - aside from needing to lose a few pounds! Cooley is currently in a foster home with other dogs and is doing GREAT. He is a big guy and doesn't always realize his size (and power), so a strong handler with familiarity with the breed would be ideal. Cooley is equal parts looks and personality - he's truly the full package! We can't imagine he'll be in our program too long... but we'll love every bit of time we get to spend with him, because he's a really great dog! If you've been looking for a Bully, consider Cooley - because he's ready for you! Apply to adopt Cooley online here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/6476b07912357a9a4606eddf/69ba1257aa73a66ed7042789
