Story
Meet Henry—the happiest little snorting, snoring, Lamb Chop–loving pug you’ll ever meet!🐾At about 10 years old and 17 pounds, Henry is a goofy senior gentleman with a huge personality, an even bigger love for butt rubs, and absolutely no idea that he only has about five teeth left.Henry does wonderfully with dogs of every size and is also great with babies and children. He has a sweet, easygoing personality and is generally happy just relaxing near his people—especially if someone is available to give him his favorite thing in the entire world: butt rubs! When Henry is feeling playful, he reaches for his beloved Lamb Chop toy. Not just any toy will do—Henry is completely devoted to Lamb Chop and apparently sees no reason to play with anything else. 😂He does great in a crate and will happily wear a belly band around the house. Henry is not currently potty trained and still believes nearly everything deserves to be marked, but as long as he is wearing his belly band, his foster family has no issues.Henry recently had all but about five of his teeth removed, but he has not let that slow him down one bit. He still believes every meal is the greatest event of his life! With his silly pug personality, adorable snores and snorts, and calm, affectionate nature, Henry is the perfect combination of entertaining and easygoing. He is ready to bring plenty of laughs, love, and Lamb Chop adventures to his forever family. 🐶💕To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.

Story
✨ ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED ✨ Meet Snoop! 🐾 Snoop is around 1 year old and is the slightly more laid-back half of the pair. He is sweet, affectionate and generally a little more chill than Kim, but don’t let that fool you — he still loves to play, romp around with other dogs and join in on a good round of zoomies. Snoop is incredibly bonded to Kim and has been with her his entire life. He follows her around like a little shadow and clearly takes a lot of comfort in having her nearby. They have experienced everything together, including spending 10 weeks in the shelter before coming into rescue. He is a small pug/Yorkie-ish mix who does wonderfully with other dogs, cats and kids. Snoop loves being around people, enjoys swimming and has a really nice balance of playful and easygoing. He is the kind of dog who can have fun with the family and then happily settle down nearby afterward. Snoop is leash trained, kennel trained and potty trained. While he can be considered for adoption separately, we would strongly prefer to keep him with Kim if we can find the right family for both. He has waited long enough for someone to finally make him part of the family.

✨ ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED ✨ Meet Kim! 💛 Kim is around 1 year old and is the more outgoing half of her little duo. She is social, playful, confident and always ready to be part of whatever is happening. Whether that means playing with another dog, hanging out with kids, splashing around in the water or following her people from room to room, Kim is happiest when she is included. She is a small pug/Yorkie-ish mix with a fun personality and a whole lot of love to give. Kim is great with other dogs, cats and children, making her a wonderful option for a family with other pets or kids. She loves to swim, loves to play and still has that young-dog energy, but she also has great house manners. Kim is leash trained, kennel trained and potty trained. She has spent her entire life with Snoop and the two are very bonded, so while they can be considered separately, we would absolutely love to see them stay together if the right home comes along. After spending 10 weeks in the shelter and then months in rescue, Kim is more than ready for a forever family of her own.
