Story
Cuteness overload warning!! Have you ever seen a puppy as cute as Jet? Jet was part of a litter surrendered to us back in July. His previous owners originally wanted to keep him, but as Jet got older and bigger, they decided they no longer wanted him and surrendered him to us. Jet had been running the streets along the Texas/Mexico border. He deserved so much more, and now it’s time to find him the family he was always meant to have — one who will love him unconditionally, keep him safe, and show him just how wonderful life can be. Born: May 3rd, 2026 Breed: Shih Tzu × Pug × Dachshund mix Weight: Approximately 11 lbs Jet is the happiest puppy! He absolutely LOVES being around people and will do just about anything to make his humans happy. When Jet first came into our care, we immediately gave him a much-needed bath. Afterwards, he celebrated with the cutest zoomies! He was so happy to be clean, surrounded by people doting on him, and other dogs ready to play. Jet is super-duper playful and has the most adorable butt wiggles you’ve ever seen. When he gets excited, his little butt goes completely sideways! Dogs: Jet loves other dogs and would do fantastic in a home with another playful pup. Cats: He has met cats and has had no issues with them, although he can be a little too energetic for some kitties. Hair: Has wire hair, does not seem to shed much, or at all. Toys: LOVES them! Cuddles: Absolutely! Food & treats: VERY food motivated and will happily accept anything you’re willing to pass his way! Jet loves to play, loves to cuddle, loves his toys, and honestly just seems to love life itself. He is well socialized and, if someone ever breaks into your house, he will probably do absolutely nothing to stop them — except perhaps wag his tail and ask for treats and pets. He is still a young baby, so Jet will need proper training, exercise, patience, consistency, and LOTS of love as he continues to grow and learn. After everything he has been through, Jet deserves a family who will never give up on him again. Any family would truly hit the jackpot by welcoming Jet into their home. If you think Jet could be your perfect little sidekick, please reach out and give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves! Jet is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, and current on de-wormer. PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY: The next step is to apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($795) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY Port Chester, NY area Anemia, NY area Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT Nashua, NH Willington, CT - Stamford, CT - Dayville, CT Steubenville, OH – Cincinnati, OH – Grove City, OH Grove City, PA and Washington, PA Ridgefield, NJ - Bordentown, NJ - Egg Harbor City, NJ Emmitsburg, MD - Elkton, MD - Hagerstown, MD Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is the best fit for your home. Story
Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 7-month-old Pug mixed pup. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He weighs about 15 pounds now and will be a small dog full grown. He has an adorable underbite and is great with other dogs. He is active but not over the top. He has the curly tail like the traditional pug but maybe the curl is less tight. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood still and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. Johnny is social and would be a great dog to take to the local coffee shop. He loves all people and is call in loud situations. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Johnny is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1869 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Popeye and Olive Oil have perfected the art of doing life side by side- preferably from the comfort of a recliner, with one pug tucked on each side of their favorite person! These adorable little couch potatoes are estimated to be around five years old, and they come as a set. They have spent their entire lives together, are deeply bonded and are available for adoption only as a pair. Fortunately, making room for both is easy when all they really want is love, treats and a cozy place to land. Go watch Popeye and Olive Oil on YouTube in “Popeye & Olive Oil | Twice the Pug, Twice the Love” and see this sweet little duo enjoying life exactly as they like it- together. https://youtu.be/g7sy5l7mLf8 Popeye and Olive Oil are fostered in a loving home with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from small companions to big older dogs. They get along well with the whole crew, although their naturally relaxed energy makes them happiest around dogs who also appreciate a peaceful pace. They are not looking to organize the neighborhood Olympics. Their idea of a perfect evening involves a soft seat, a good show and a person positioned conveniently close. They are also wonderful with cats. Popeye and Olive Oil have lived with feline friends before and were completely respectful when introduced to our house cat- even while he was feeling particularly feisty and putting their manners to the test. These two handled him beautifully and made it very clear that they had no interest in creating any drama. Both are good car riders once their tiny legs receive a little assistance getting aboard. Neither has much jump behind them, so a quick boost is appreciated. After that, they are happy to settle in and enjoy the ride together. More than anything, Popeye and Olive Oil are easy, affectionate little companions who simply want to be included. They bring twice the sweet faces, twice the pug charm and a perfectly matched pair of warm bodies for anyone whose recliner currently feels a little too empty. Popeye and Olive Oil are available only as a bonded pair. Apply today using the application link below, and contact their adoption coordinator with any questions about bringing this lovable duo home together. Story
Meet Shania! Weight: 10 lbs | Breed: Mixed Breed | Status: Adorable, Loving, Fully Healed & Ready for Adoption. Shania is an adorable 10-pound survivor with a heart of gold. Despite a difficult past—rescued over a year ago with severe chemical burns and a cautious spirit— but Thankfully with the help of her foster family & foster pet siblings she has made a breathtaking transformation. Today, Shania is fully healed, adored, and thriving in her foster home, and easily one of the most positive, well-adjusted dogs we have ever met. You would never know what she’s been through by looking at her bright, loving energy and eager to please disposition. Shania gets along wonderfully with both two-legged and four-legged friends. She is crate-trained, remarkably well-mannered, and endlessly loyal. Once you’ve earned her trust, she will happily shower you with gentle kisses, cuddle up for snuggle sessions, join you on walks, and happily play games of fetch. Whatever you’re doing, Shania is just thrilled to be by your side doing it with you. —- 🐾We Love Shania — A Tiny Mix Breed With a Huge Heart! ❤️Shania is a beautiful, petite young girl who has already come a long way on her journey to a brighter future. Little Shania was rescued by Canine Protection League at the eleventh hour from an overcrowded southern kill shelter where she was about to be euthanized due to overcrowding. We found out she’d survived significant cruelty, abuse, and neglect, and knew right then we’d save her and make sure she had a much better life than she’d ever imagined. We have provided her Rescue, TLC, spay, vaccines, medical care for her chemical burns/wounds, and given her guidance, training, socialization, and lots of love - She has done very well in her foster home with people and dogs of all sizes. Shania loves walks and play dates with volunteers and her foster siblings, Shania has made an extraordinary transformation although areas of her fur may never fully grow back, from the cruel chemical burns she endured before rescue that doesn’t stop her from living life of enthusiasm, companionship, love, and joy. She’s truly blossomed into her best self with the care and kindness of her devoted foster family, she is an affectionate little sweetheart who loves life, enjoys snuggling in your lap, giving gentle kisses, and soaking up all the attention she can get.She is crate-trained, doing very well with her housebreaking routine, and continues to learn quickly.
