Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Found as a stray, and the sweetest little man imaginable! Pugsley is fitting in easily to his foster home, and he tells us he likes laying on the sofa, pretending to be a cat, going outside with his foster siblings, and hanging out on the lap of his wonderful foster dad.  Pugsley is housetrained. He does have special needs, and that will make placement one that we will be extremely choosy about... He is scheduled for surgery on July 2, to have his non-working eye removed, and entropian surgery on the other eye to stop the rolled-under eyelid rubbing on the cornea. Additionally, his jaw alignment issues will be addressed, not through surgery on his jaw, but to remove the teeth that clash rather than work as they should. Additionally, he will be neutered and ready to adopt. He is very loved! Adoption fee to help us cover costs: $300.   PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 27, 2026, 8:57 pm

Story
Duff is an interesting character. Currently 3 years old, he came from a litter of very friendly little pups, but for some reason, Duff didn't inherit the bubbly personality gene. He is reserved, to say the least, but he has come a long way. He enjoys being petted and is excited when you return home. He just isn't to the point yet of running right up to you to get love. When he is on his bed he waits for you to pet him or put him on a leash. He loves taking walks, has fun playing with other small dogs, and could care less about cats. Kids would probably be too much for him. This is a very special boy who wants love and is getting better about accepting love. He is quiet, doesn't jump up on furniture, and sleeps through the night. He is potty pad trained. Perhaps a doggy door leading to a fenced in yard would encourage his outdoor pottying. He is requesting a patient person who will love him unconditionally no matter what his quirks are.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Hi! This is blackjack, I’ve had him for 2 years but with so much changing recently with life and work I feel I don’t have the time for him that he needs so I want to re-home him. He's free as long as he goes to a good family/person. I think he’d benefit well with an open area to run in. He gets anxious around a lot of people and he does take a little bit to warm up he’s always been very skittish and defensive around new people but I feel like that’s because I don’t have the time to spend with him like I want to. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. My number is (xxx) xxx-xxxx
