Pug mixRolo is a funny little girl with the silliest “talking” ability. She is crate trained and doing very well with house training. She gets along well with dogs and children...we just don’t know about cats. Please send us your phone number to hear more about Rolo!March 19, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
Meet Puglsey! He is a bit over a year old and is guessed to be a mix of pug and beagle. That's a puggle, right?! Pugsley is a true baby who is sensitive to new situations and looks to the people he loves for guidance and comfort. He's a shy, cuddler who can be started by new situations and prefers the comfort of a home that is calm and quiet. Though he is nervous, he is not snippy and responds well to people who talk quietly and move slowly with him. In his foster home, he has become more comfortable and playful and enjoys the company of other dogs. Give him a little time, patience, and love, and he slowly warms up and lets his sweet personality shine. This adorable little guy is looking for someone who will give him the patience and guidance he needs while he learns. A fenced in yard and another dog for him to model and be comforted by, is a requirement for adoption. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3 charitable, foster based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, Va. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Found as a stray, and the sweetest little man imaginable! Pugsley is fitting in easily to his foster home, and he tells us he likes laying on the sofa, pretending to be a cat, going outside with his foster siblings, and hanging out on the lap of his wonderful foster dad.  Pugsley is housetrained. He does have special needs, and that will make placement one that we will be extremely choosy about. Pugsley had his eye removal surgery for the eye that had been injured, was neutered, and his nares were widened, so snorting is less of an issue now. He is heartworm positive, which adds another dimension to his special needs. The vet said the entropian had cleared up on the good eye, so did not feel the need to surgically correct that, and his bite has also improved. He is looking good! . He is very loved! Adoption fee to help us cover costs: $300.   PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 16, 2026, 11:15 am
