Story
Leah here, an old girl looking for my soft landing. I am around 10 years old and done with the hard life. I had some health concerns on intake but have thankfully been treated for them, caught up on vaccines, spayed to remove an infected uterus, ear infections treated, and a dental to remove infected teeth. I do have osteoarthritis but I am in better shape that I have been for quite a while and ready to head off into the sunset with my new family. If you think you can keep up with a bossy old girl call the shelter and set up a time to meet me.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.

Warning: Cuteness Overload Incoming! 🚨Meet Tigger, a 7-month-old Puggle (that’s Pug + Beagle = pure chaos and charm). He’s back on the market after his last family realized… two puppies was like running a daycare with no coffee. ☕🐶Tigger’s still in his “learning” era — you know, basic manners and the difference between “sit” and “zoom across the living room.” But he makes up for it with his hilarious personality, endless wiggles, and heart of gold. 💛He loves dogs (bonus points if they’re bigger and can handle his playtime energy) but cats? Hard pass. 🐱🚫If you’re ready for a life filled with laughter, love, and maybe a few chewed slippers, Tigger is your guy. Come meet this happy little tornado of joy! 🌪️❤️All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Calling all Old English Bulldog lovers — where are you?Our sweet Biscuit has been waiting over a month for someone to see just how special she is.Biscuit is a quiet, gentle girl with the cutest little underbite that will make you smile every time you see her. She’s short, stocky, sensitive, and incredibly loyal—truly the classic bulldog personality wrapped up in one adorable package.Biscuit is really having a hard time in the shelter, and she deserves to be in a warm home for the holidays. Please come meet this sweet girl and give her the cozy, loving life she’s been waiting for. ❤️🐾All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped.
