This sweet soul has had a tough start in life, and he’s looking for a special home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the wonderful companion he is.Once a part of a home with too many Chihuahuas and far too little attention, Jolly didn’t get the love he deserved. He was often picked on by the other dogs due to a disability in his back leg, which doesn’t bend, but don’t let that fool you — it doesn’t stop him! He gets around just fine and still has a ton of pep in his step.Jolly’s past has made him a bit shy and unsure of new situations, but with patience and consistency, he’s opening up more each day. He’s working on his house training and is already familiar with a doggie door — a great sign that he’s adjusting well to his foster home. He’s also discovered the joy of cuddling up on the couch, though his shyness keeps him from snuggling as close as he’d like just yet. She grew up with small children but was not taught that she is not the leader in the household, so, being a working dog, her instinct is to manage and control chaos.
