I have lived with another dog previously so I can go home with other like minded buddies. I am a sensitive boy who might need time to adjust in a new home. Story
Max is approximately 7 to 9 years old and came to us for a second lease on life. He was one of 30 chihuahuas in a hoarding situation and didn’t know how to be a dog before foster care and eventually adoption. He takes a very long time to warm up and would probably be best as an only dog going forward. He’s been great with our child and older senior dog but has exhibited increasingly worse behavior with our daughter’s younger dog coming into the home. He has done well with other kids when they come over but is very easily overwhelmed and does not like loud environments. He is well trained but his new habit does include marking in the house and we have tried everything to break him of it. I’m heartbroken to try and part ways with him but I’m at the end of the rope trying to manage his behavior. He loves to be pet and snuggle in his human’s bed. He loves to tuck himself into a blanket 360 degrees around and be cozy. He’s a goofy boy and does bring a lot of joy.
