Story
Lily Bean is a rescue about 5 years old. I adopted her a year ago. I did ancestry and she's mostly beagle with German shepherd dog as the second most prominent mix. She would do best in a home with another dog as she has separation anxiety. Despite this she's great with my nephew (24mo) and when I visit friends with dogs once she got to know the dogs (couple of visits) she wasn't too concerned with where I was. A cool surface to lounge on is her favorite. She likes hard chews and fish flavored treats. Thunderstorms dont bother her, just give her a window because she loves to people watch. Lol

About Me Hi there! I’m a sweet, easygoing girl who has discovered that life is pretty wonderful when you have a cozy couch, a loving human, and a quiet place to call home. I’m happy and laid-back, with a low-to-moderate energy level. My favorite activity? Lounging on the couch beside my person. I don’t need constant attention—I’m perfectly content simply being near you. I’m affectionate on my terms, and once we get to know each other, I’ll happily enjoy your company. When visitors arrive, I’ll give them a quick sniff and then go right back to doing my own thing. I’m also wonderful when left alone and do great free-roaming in the house. I’m house-trained, walk beautifully on a leash, and do well on short car rides. I’ve been around small dogs and get along wonderfully with them. I especially like being near two tiny puppies in my foster home and enjoy watching over them. I haven’t been around children yet, so that’s something my future family will need to consider. I’m pretty much the perfect dog, with just one little quirk—I don’t enjoy being picked up. But honestly, I don’t think that’s too much to ask. I’d much rather keep my paws on the ground and have you sit beside me anyway! What I’m Looking For I’m looking for a family who appreciates a calm, gentle companion and understands that love doesn’t always have to mean being in your lap. If your idea of a perfect evening is relaxing on the couch with a sweet dog by your side, we might be a perfect match. I don’t need a complicated life. I just need someone who will give me a comfortable home, respect my boundaries, and let me be the wonderful, easygoing girl that I am. ❤️
