You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Kristen (kristendl_09@live.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Teddy’s breed? We don’t know. He’s a very tiny puppy right now so it’s hard to tell. He’s truly ridiculously adorable though. Pretty chill puppy so far, eats throughout the day in his kennel just a little at a time. He likes to wrestle the stuffy toys and some days he tells his foster how it is. Kennel training is hard some days but in time, he will get the hang of it.   In his foster home he will be socialized with adult dogs/cats and kids! Teddy will require a refundable $150 neuter deposit as he will not be altered. He has his first round of puppy boosters, will be microchipped and up to date on preventatives.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 4, 2026, 4:43 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Kristen (kristendl_09@live.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Prescilla is available for adoption after months in foster care due to heartworm treatment. She’s received all of her injections, she has a few more appointments scheduled which will be provided below.   Prescilla is a happy chunky pup! She’s got lots of spunk in her and she’s ready for her forever home! She’s house trained (had a few accidents, believed to be caused by the medications she’s on) but other than a few pee accidents she’s been great. She’s dog friendly, can take a min to warm up to new dogs but she’s just part of her foster homes pack now days. She’s not aggressive towards cats but she will chase them if they run, she thinks it’s a game. She’s kennel trained and doesn’t really enjoy a leash, but she does okay. She doesn’t pull on the leash, she just does not want to walk. Her foster has really come to love Prescilla during her time in foster care, but unfortunately she can’t stay there forever.       Prescilla has to return back to Columbus Animal Hospital in Columbus IN for the rest of her treatment. Even though she was stage 3 when she arrived, she’s really doing fantastic after her treatment! Prescilla could possibly have a deficit which could require heart medication once she completely cleared of heartworms, but that is not something that would be known until later down the road. She may need medications for the remainder of her life or she may not. Just something to keep in mind if interested in adopting Prescilla.   She is not spayed yet due to the complications from anesthesia that would come with surgery while she’s still going through HW treatment. Prescilla would require the refundable $150 spay deposit. Once cleared for spay surgery she will return to Columbus Animal Hospital for surgery. She is up to date on vaccines/preventatives as well as microchipped!    Prescilla has one upcoming visit at CAH on 4/14/26 at 8AM for a drop off. If you have any questions please e-mail her foster directly.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 5, 2026, 6:16 pm

Story
Brittany Bear was my daughter's dog who adopted her as a puppy. She moved out of my former wife's home, leaving her behind. My ex-wife then got a Great Dane who picked on this little dog all the time. I was asked to take Bear to my home for her safety as the Great Dane was getting increasingly aggressive towards her. I have had her for a little over a year. My current girlfriend and I are thinking of getting married and a home together, and she does not want any animals in her home. She has given me the ultimatum; rehome the dog or we can't share a home and that is why I am here. I love her very much and giving her up is heartbreaking. Brittany Bear will be 11 years old on March 15, 2026. She is spayed and has lived with other dogs and cats and been fine with them. She has not lived with small children. She is a short haired dog and needs to live in a warm home. She likes sleeping in bed at the feet under the covers of her owner. She will bark and strange dogs and people.
