WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾☀️ Meet Toledo — The Little Adventure Buddy with Big Puppy Energy ☀️🐾 Male • 4 Months Old • Future 25ish lbs • Professional Toy Tester & Zoomie Specialist Toledo is a 4-month-old 10lb bundle of puppy happiness wrapped in a handsome darker tan coat and powered entirely by curiosity, wiggles, and snack motivation. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance grooming routine but high-maintenance cuddle expectations… congratulations, you’ve found your boy. This short-haired cutie may possibly be a Puggle mix (pug + beagle), but his official breed classification is “Certified Good-Time Puppy.” His coat is the perfect wash-and-go model — meaning less time brushing and more time doing the important things in life like belly rubs, snacks, and telling him how handsome he is. Toledo is a happy, social little guy who loves other dogs and is especially fond of wrestling matches with his lighter-tan brother, Conroe. Their matches are intense, dramatic, and occasionally involve mid-playtime flops that look like someone hit the “puppy pause button.” Toys? Yes. Exploring outside? Absolutely. Meeting people? His tag is already wagging. He’s a curious little explorer who loves being outside checking out the world, sniffing everything like it’s part of an important investigation, and generally living life like every day is the best day ever. At his young age, he should do just fine with cats when given proper introductions. He loves other dogs and people of all sizes, but keep in mind — he is still a puppy, which means he comes factory-equipped with those famous needle-sharp puppy teeth and enthusiastic little claws. Temporary features, but highly effective during playtime. Life with Toledo will include: • Surprise zoomies through the living room • Dramatic puppy flops mid-play • Toy explosions across the house • Endless kisses • Occasional chaos • A whole lot of laughter Fully grown, he should land around the 25ish pound range, which is basically the goldilocks size of dogs — big enough for adventures, small enough to fit comfortably on the couch (or directly in your lap, according to him). He’ll be the perfect partner for: • Hiking trails • Camping trips • Neighborhood strolls • Co-piloting errand runs • And of course… professional couch snuggling once the day’s adventures are done. If your home could use more laughter, more puppy shenanigans, and a very happy little sidekick who thinks you hung the moon… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Toledo bring the zoomies, the giggles, and the puppy love home. 🐶💛

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛 Meet Gordo — 8 Pounds of Love, Loyalty, and Lap-Warming Perfection 💛🐾 Gordo has been waiting… and waiting… and we honestly don’t understand how this little guy is still looking for his forever home. At just 3 years old and 8 pounds, Gordo is living proof that the very best things come in the tiniest, snuggliest packages. This sweet Chihuahua mix is equal parts lap warmer, cuddle champion, and loyal sidekick. He adores being close to his person and will happily follow you from room to room like a tiny, devoted shadow. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who truly wants to be with you — not just near you — Gordo is your guy. He does have a soft spot for the ladies (Gentlemen, don’t worry—he’ll accept you too, but he’s a mama’s boy at heart!) and would thrive in a calm, quiet home. He’d also be thrilled to have a small doggie friend to sunbathe with and share naps. Kids aren’t really his vibe, but cozy couches and peaceful routines? Absolutely. 💊 A little extra love note about Gordo: Gordo is considered special needs due to occasional seizures, which are well managed with daily medication (Levetiracetam and Phenobarbital - about $50 every two months). He takes his meds like a champ and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He’ll also need Midazolam on hand, just in case he does have a seizure — though thankfully, his meds are working very well and he rarely has one. Now for the fun stuff… 🐶 Gordo’s Favorite Things: • Being used as a living neck pillow • Sunbathing like a tiny beach bum • Napping with doggie friends • Shamelessly begging for watermelon 🍉 • Sitting in your lap… always • Staring down the vacuum like a brave little warrior He’s house trained, crate trained, and happily trots into his crate at mealtime like the good boy he is. Gordo is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and gives his whole heart once he feels safe. This little guy has been through a lot in his short life, but he hasn’t let it dim his sweetness or his desire to love. He’s just waiting for someone to see how special he truly is and give him the calm, loving home he deserves. 💛 If you’re looking for a devoted companion, a constant cuddle buddy, and a tiny soul who will adore you endlessly — Gordo is ready to wiggle into your heart and home! Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet boy the forever home he’s been waiting for. 💖

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Lucy – Tiny Thief, Big Heart 🐾💛 2 years old • 12 pounds of pure personality This little rascal is Lucy — and she may be small, but she’s packed full of sweetness, spunk, and just a dash of mischievous charm. Lucy came from a hoarding situation, so she’s still learning all about the good life most dogs take for granted — things like kind words, soft beds, gentle pets, and treats that don’t have to be shared with 50 of your closest canine neighbors. She’s discovering that being a dog can actually be pretty wonderful. At first, Lucy can be a little shy. New people and new places take her a bit of time to warm up to. But once she feels safe? Out comes the happy, goofy, secretly hilarious little girl hiding inside. She’s house trained, crate trained, and not food aggressive. On walks she’s more “sniff investigator” than marathon athlete — she doesn’t walk great on a leash... yet, because she’s too busy trying to smell every single leaf, blade of grass, and mysterious sidewalk crumb. Priorities! Lucy enjoys being outside, soaking up the sun, and observing the world from her favorite perch. She’s slowly gaining confidence in the house and has recently started exploring more on her own — a HUGE milestone for a girl who once didn’t know what home life even meant. She isn’t overly social with bigger dogs and would likely be happiest as an only dog or with calm dogs her own size. Loud, boisterous canine roommates can feel a little overwhelming to her. Now for the BEST part about Lucy… Lucy is a THIEF. 😄 Her foster brother Buddy leaves toys scattered everywhere, and Lucy has developed a top-secret operation. When Buddy isn’t looking, she sneaks off her perch, carefully steals one of his toys, and proudly carries it back to her spot like she just pulled off the heist of the century. No remorse. Just adorable criminal activity. And as if that wasn’t cute enough, Lucy has one more irresistible trick up her tiny sleeve — she does the SWEETEST little paw wave when she’s happy or asking for attention. It’s her signature move, and it’s basically impossible to resist. What Lucy needs most is a patient, gentle person or family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and comfortable — without rushing her. She’s already come so far, and with a little more love and understanding, she’s going to blossom even more. Lucy is a very happy girl who is slowly learning how to just “be a dog.” And watching her discover joy, trust, and confidence is one of the most rewarding things ever. If you’re looking for a small companion with a tender heart, a silly streak, and a future career in toy theft, Lucy might just be your perfect match. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let this tiny treasure warm up your world and put joy in your heart! 💛🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ☕🐾 Meet Mocha — 20 Pounds of Pure Cuteness with a Lil Extra Foam! 🐾☕ Mocha is a 4-year-old Chug (that’s Chihuahua + Pug for those new to designer deliciousness) and she is serving looks, love, and just a tiny bit of extra fluff. At around 20 lbs, Mocha is the perfect “armful of dog” size — compact enough for lap duty, sturdy enough for adventures, and currently rocking what we like to call her “well-loved marshmallow phase.” Could she stand to shed a few pounds? Sure. But honestly, she wears it well. Think cuddly latte, not plain black coffee. Let’s talk personality — because this girl is a STAR. Mocha loves: • Dogs ✔ • Kids ✔ • Cats ✔ • Adults ✔ • Basically anyone with a pulse ✔ She has never met a stranger — only future best friends. Her greeting style includes enthusiastic wiggles, soulful eyes, and a face that looks like it was handcrafted by the Cute Committee. And those looks? Oh. My. Goodness. - Big expressive eyes. - Adorable squishy face. - The most boopable little nose. - And expressions that range from “I love you forever” to “I heard the treat bag crinkle from three rooms away.” Mocha is sweet, affectionate, and full of charm. She’s the type who will happily follow you around the house just to supervise your activities. Folding laundry? She’ll monitor. Cooking dinner? She’ll taste-test...willingly. Watching TV? She’s already in your lap. She’s past the puppy chaos stage and has fully entered her “professional companion” era. No wild zoomie tornadoes — just steady, loving, loyal goodness with occasional bursts of happy wiggles. Her ideal home? One that appreciates: • Snuggles on demand • A built-in best friend • Daily walks (doctor’s orders — bikini season is coming 😉) • A dog who thinks you are the center of the universe Mocha isn’t just adorable — she’s the whole package. Sweet, social, cuddly, and ridiculously good-looking. If you’re looking for a loving little shadow who will brighten your days, warm your lap, and possibly share your snacks (she will absolutely try), Mocha is ready to stir up your life in the very best way. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and bring home this sweet little latte of love ☕💛🐾
