Meet Lacy!Ethel and Lacy are adorable 5-month-old female Chihuahua mixes who recently came to the adoption center after being surrendered due to “too many animals.” These little girls are just beginning their journey of learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and valued.They haven’t had much early socialization, so meeting new people is still a learning process for them. Right now, they’re taking things slowly and discovering that gentle voices, patience, and kindness can be trusted. With time and reassurance, they are going to blossom into incredibly sweet and devoted companions.Ethel and Lacy aren’t the most photogenic at the moment — they’re currently rocking their post-spay “cones of shame” — but we promise their true personalities shine much brighter in motion. Be sure to check out their video to get a better glimpse of their curious, tender spirits starting to peek through.These girls will do best in calm, loving homes that understand shy puppies and are willing to let them move at their own pace. With consistency, security, and affection, Ethel and Lacy are sure to become deeply loving pets who bond closely with their people.Ready to adopt? Great news—our spayed/neutered pets are available to go home the same day! You can visit us in person, give us a call, or apply online—whatever works best for you.
