Story
Meet Sadie, a 9-month-old Aussie/Doodle mix with a big heart, a playful spirit, and approximately 43 pounds of pure puppy fun. This sweet girl is expected to be around 50 pounds full grown, making her a great medium-sized adventure buddy. Sadie came to us as an owner surrender due to her owner’s health issues, and she’s now ready to find the forever family she deserves.Sadie is an active, affectionate, happy girl who loves walks, car rides, toys, water, and pretty much anything that involves spending time with her people. She’s definitely still a puppy, so her energy level is high and she can be a bit of a wild child on leash. She’ll need a family willing to continue working with her on leash manners and provide plenty of exercise, playtime, training, and mental stimulation. The good news? Sadie is already off to a fantastic start. She is crate trained and housetrained per her owner, knows commands including sit, stay, and down, and has even completed Puppy Canine Citizen classes—complete with her very own medal and certificate.Sadie is reported to be dog-friendly, but as always, a meet and greet with any resident dog is required. She has had no exposure to cats, so her compatibility with feline friends is unknown.Like many dogs, Sadie isn’t a fan of loud noises or thunderstorms, so her forever family will need to give her some extra reassurance when the skies get noisy. And let’s not forget the glam. With her Aussie/Doodle coat, Sadie will require regular brushing and professional grooming to keep her looking and feeling fabulous.Sadie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, energetic young dog who will happily join you for walks, adventures, car rides, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, Sadie may be your girl. She’s ready to trade her puppy days for a forever family who will cherish her, keep her active, continue her training, and love her for all the goofy, affectionate, wonderful things that make Sadie… well, Sadie.
