Hi, I’m Max! I’m a two-year-old Maltese mix with a big personality, a happy little heart, and absolutely no intention of letting my small size hold me back. I’m a confident, curious guy who likes to be part of the action, and I have plenty of energy to keep life fun! I can be a little vocal when meeting new people, but don’t worry, it doesn’t take me long to decide we could be friends. Once you’re in my good books, I’m ready to soak up all the attention you have to offer!I’m a social little dude who loves being around my people, although I’m still working on keeping all four paws on the ground when I get excited. I’ve lived with children before and done well, so I could make a lovely addition to a family ready for a spirited little companion. When it comes to other dogs, I tend to think I’m much bigger than I actually am, so I’d do best with canine friends who are patient and tolerant of my enthusiastic approach. I haven’t met any cats that I can tell you about yet, but I may be able to share my home with a feline friend with thoughtful introductions.One thing you should know about me is that I’m not exactly the quiet, dainty lapdog stereotype. I have opinions, and sometimes I feel the need to share them! Apartment living might be possible depending on your tolerance for a chatty little roommate, but my vocal nature is definitely something to consider. I’ll also need regular professional grooming to keep my handsome coat looking its best.If you’re looking for a fun-sized best friend with a big-dog attitude, plenty of personality, and lots of love to give, I might just be your Max match!
