Ragamuffin kittens & cats in Loves Park, Illinois

Zefur is a gorgeous, sweet 3 year old girl with a calm demeanor, soft meows and cute little black toe beans! Shy at first, she warms up to being pet and getting attention fairly quickly. She loves to play with humans and kitty toys. A quiet household with no other pets is a must. She comes with her records, cat carrier, toys and bed. She was previously declawed at some point. I adopted her on ReHome as a cat needing to be the only cat in the house. I thought I would give her a chance to live harmoniously with my cat because he is very sweet and mellow. However, after several months, she has not warmed up to him, despite him coaxing her to interact and play. Instead, she is starting to intimidate him more and more. The reason I adopted a second cat was strictly for companionship for him while I'm at work. He obviously wants a buddy to play with, so after a lot of thought, I've decided to continue searching a more compatible cat for him and a more suitable home for her.
