Ragamuffin kittens & cats in Giddings, Texas

My daughter got Pete as a kitten 11 years ago while in highschool in Houston. He finished highschool with her then moved to Alabama with her for 4 years of college. After college he moved to Austin where he has been the past 4 years. While it breaks our hearts with my daughter’s busy schedule she has been not been able to give him the time and attention he deserves. I would take myself but my dogs are not big fans. He is pretty easy when alone and mostly keeps to himself. When rehomed he will likely spend a couple of days hiding.

Doobi is my Christmas miracle — truly a gift from God. He was the only survivor from his litter after a lightning strike, and I adopted him just days before Christmas. He came into my life during one of my hardest times and brought so much light, comfort, and joy when I needed it most. I once tried calling him Blaze and Puff, but he didn’t react — until I said, “Doobi, come here,” and he came running straight to me. That’s when I knew he was the cat God sent to me — the white cat I had always dreamed of having since I was little. I’ve cared for him since he was a tiny, sick kitten, doing everything I could to keep him happy and healthy. We’ve been through so much together, and he will always have a special place in my heart. As heartbreaking as it is, I believe it’s best for him to find a loving home that can give him all the time, attention, and affection he deserves.
