True to his nickname “big guy,” Moose is a large, lovable presence who brings both comfort and companionship in the best way. He thrives on affection and will happily return it tenfold. He does well with other cats, with a proper slow introduction of course, and would be a wonderful addition to a home looking for a deeply connected, people-oriented companion. Whether they're stretched out in a warm sunbeam, batting around a favorite toy, snuggled up together for a nap, or curled beside you on the couch, Bella and Guinness bring a quiet joy that only comes from cats who know exactly who they are. They have had dentals, senior bloodwork and Bella has been grroomed! Bella does have one special consideration: she is diabetic. The good news is that she is beautifully regulated and does wonderfully with her care routine. She receives insulin twice daily and is an absolute superstar when it comes to glucose testing. Her care is much simpler and more affordable than many people expect, with her insulin costing approximately $20 every six weeks. She enjoys a primarily canned food diet with just a small measured amount of crunchies each day and is thriving. If you've never cared for a diabetic cat before, don't let that scare you away. Whiskers is happy to provide hands-on training and ongoing support to ensure you feel comfortable and confident. We promise it's much easier than it sounds!
