Story
LOUIE: A very delicate 10 month old kitten. It takes him time to warm up and when he does you will be able to run your fingers through his incredibly soft fur while he purrs. He is not a talking cat and his meow is very soft and faint. He will touch you with a paw when he needs something like affection, food or water. HISTORY: I puchased a 10 month old kitten at the end of February 2025. My kitten was part rag doll. Unbeknownst to me my kitten was pregnant. On April 1, 2025 (April fools Day, lol) my kitten popped out five more kittens. I have no history on the daddy. Three kittens have been adopted out. Louie and his brother, Thumper (also listed on this site), are the only two left.

Story
🌸 Meet Sakura 🌸Just like her namesake, Sakura is a delicate soul who is looking for the right place to truly blossom. This gentle girl can be quite anxious in new situations and is searching for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and take life at her own pace.Sakura would do best with someone experienced with shy or nervous cats-someone patient and understanding who is willing to give her the time and reassurance she needs to grow in confidence. With kindness and a predictable environment, Sakura has the potential to slowly come out of her shell and show her sweet side.Because she's nervous, a peaceful household will suit her best. A home with older, respectful children who understand how to give a sensitive cat space could be a good fit.If you have a gentle heart and the patience to help a timid kitty find her courage, Sakura may just blossom into the most rewarding companion. 🌸Do you think you could be Sakura's person? Here are some ways to find out: 1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
