Story
Meet the Six April Sweethearts They have shared bottles, incubators, setbacks, victories, and milestones. Their bond is beautiful, and their survival is nothing short of inspiring. Wembly is Snowshoe Ragdoll mix with his striking markings and expressive face, Wembly is impossible to overlook. Snowshoe traits shine through in his social, people-oriented personality. He bonds deeply and greets you like you are the most important person in the world. He loves interaction whether that’s playtime or being scooped up for snuggles. Like a true Ragdoll-type boy, he relaxes when held and thrives on companionship. Wembly doesn’t just want a home. He wants his person. Weatherly is a female Seal Point Ragdoll mix. She has the classic Ragdoll temperament, when you pick her up, she melts completely into your arms. Her blue eyes are calm and soulful, and she prefers affection over chaos. She seeks out closeness and will quietly follow you just to be near. She had a slow start physically, but emotionally she has always been steady and sweet. Weatherly would thrive in a home that appreciates her gentle spirit and enjoys a true lap companion. She is grace wrapped in fur. Wescott, a long-haired black male who is a walking purr machine. Touch him once and the motor starts and is loud, steady, and full of contentment. He is deeply sweet-natured and leans into affection with complete trust. His luxurious black coat gives him a dramatic presence, but his personality is pure marshmallow. He overcame his fragile beginning quietly and steadily, and now he offers nothing but warmth and devotion. If you are looking for a kitten who will adore you openly, Wescott is your boy. Wexley is a sweet tabby boy with the kind of face that belongs in a storybook round, perfectly balanced, with wide eyes that seem to speak. He is playful but not overwhelming, affectionate but not demanding. He studies you with thoughtful curiosity and then gently melts into pets and cuddles. His temperament is beautifully balanced, making him adaptable to many loving homes. Wexley doesn’t need to try to charm you. He just exists and your heart is gone. Wenora is striking is a female striking tortoiseshell coat paired with a fluffy white chest gives her a regal glow. She carries that signature tortie spark, but because she was bottle-raised, her sass is wrapped in sweetness. She is confident without being domineering, affectionate without being clingy. Wenora knows she’s beautiful and she absolutely is but she also loves a good cuddle and playful romp. She is sunshine with whiskers. Wendel is the most brilliant survivor. The surprise addition. The thinker. The spark. Wendel is a tabby and white Maine Coon mix boy with oversized ears that once looked too big for his fragile body and is now the hint of the magnificent cat he will become. He is incredibly intelligent, observant, and driven. If there is something new in the room, Wendel will be the first to investigate. Because he started off slightly older and on his own, he has a touch of single kitten syndrome — meaning he is confident, independent, and sometimes hilariously convinced he makes the rules. He plays hard, thinks fast, and has learned to entertain himself with impressive creativity. He is energetic, engaging, and deeply bonded to his people once he trusts you. Wendel isn’t just a survivor, he is impressive. All six kittens were underweight and fragile in the beginning. Eating was a challenge. Strength took time. They required weeks of hands-on care before they were strong enough to transition into foster life. But today? They are playful, affectionate, social, and full of personality. They adore people because people saved them. Their journey is one of patience, resilience, and love. At Small Lives Matter, every tiny life is given the chance to grow — and these six are living proof that even the smallest beginnings can lead to the brightest futures. These babies are not at a café or public location. They are currently thriving in loving foster care and will be adopted through Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue. All meet-and-greets will take place in a private Ponte Vedra area foster home with an approved application. If you are interested in adopting, please submit your adoption application. Once reviewed, we will contact you by email to schedule a meet-and-greet.

Story
My husband and I adopted Momo (9 years old) with her sister from the Jacksonville Humane Society in 2017. She’s very sweet and cuddly but she no longer gets along with her sister, Mika, and doesn’t like my husband. Mika has been guarding the litter boxes and food bowls and stressing Momo out to the point where she’s been acting out. Momo will be an absolute cuddle bug and a joy to have in your home provided you don’t have any other pets or kids. She only has experience with my nieces and nephew terrorizing her and her sister is the only other cat she’s been around without getting into physical fights. We tried to adopt an orange baby boy several years ago and Momo terrorized him. He’s now happily living with his grandparents where he can run around outside and chase birds and bugs to his hearts content. She really is sweet, but my husband and I can’t handle the behavioral issues any longer and would be so happy to find a good home for her to thrive in.

Story
My wife and I took in Kila as a kitten after my mom couldn’t care for her anymore. We’ve had her for 6 years but now have a baby on the way and had to turn Kila’s room (where we keep her litterpan and food secured from our dogs) into a nursery. Our two dogs keep getting into her food and litterpan now and we are short on space to keep those items. Kila gets along great with dogs and will even snuggle up against them if they let her. She also enjoys laying on a warm body, playing with toys and string, and she goes crazy for catnip. My wife and I aren’t really “cat people” so we hope Kila can go to a home that loves her and plays with her as she deserves. We will provide all cat accessories, including litterpans, cat carrier, automatic feeder, food, cat scratch post, etc.

Story
'Little Miss' is a shy sweet girl. She was born under my deck and I have fostered her for a few months now. She has bug eyes and is super vocal. Little Miss Sunshine is an young cat, about 6 months old, the smallest of her litter and she is still quite petite, but don’t let her size fool you, she was the leader among her siblings. 'Little Miss' plays catch every night and looks forward to play time. She is used to being indoors, but would be fine in an enclosed patio. Little Miss Sunshine is ready for her forever home. 💕
