Ragdoll

Male, Senior
Peoria, IL
Size
(when grown) -
Details
Not good with kids, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Oliver (grey & brown) & his brother Gordon (black & white) are up to be rehomed because my mom can no longer take care of them. Ideally, they would re-home together but we don't have a lot of time to find a home so are considering separate homes if necessary so they don't end up in an animal shelter. We believe they are around 13 years old. Oliver is pretty aloof much of the time, but when he is ready for cuddles he pops up on the bed looking for attention... from someone he trusts. Gordon can be particularly sweet & cuddly once he warms up to you. Both are very shy, and until they are used to you can be very skittish. They tend to like hiding under the bed or behind the couch or curled together in a basket when strangers are around. The two have lived with my mom most of their lives in an apartment, so while they aren't currently up-to-date on their shots, etc. they have lived lives pretty much entirely in her apartment.

Gordon does have a sensitive stomach and spits up with some regularity, though he is not currently on a special diet and I think with a little troubleshooting he probably could get past that.
