Story
Big Daddy, born approximately 11/2/2023, is the king of floof with the softest blue eyes and the soul of a gentle giant.
This handsome lynx point Ragdoll mix spent years out in the neighborhood living the life no cat should have to live, fathering countless kittens while surviving the elements, scuffles, and uncertainty of street life. These days, Big Daddy is officially retired from his former duties. He is neutered, safely indoors, and embracing the life we suspect he always dreamed about: soft blankets, endless head scritches, full meals, and humans to adore him.
Right now, Big Daddy looks a little rough around the edges. Life outside has left its mark and his fresh rescue glow-up is still loading. Beneath the slightly battered exterior is a cat with superior floof potential and movie-star looks just waiting to emerge. Give him a little time, good food, and love, and he is destined to become an absolute showstopper.
What shines brightest already, though, is his heart. Big Daddy is sweet, affectionate, and so ready to trade survival mode for snuggle mode. He leans into pets with gratitude, melts for attention, and carries himself with the quiet tenderness of a cat who finally feels safe.
After spending so much of his life taking care of everyone else, it is finally Big Daddy’s turn to be cared for.

Adopting from Sheets Pet Adoption is simple! Request an application, answer a few follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-greet. The application helps us guide you to your best match. If we do not have your best match, we can refer you to other great rescue groups.

Our adoption fee is $100 for each cat 6 months and older, $150 if you adopt two 6+ month-old cats at the same time. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an exit exam from one of our veterinarians before going home.

NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason.
Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. Â At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
