Ragdoll kittens & cats in Mount Healthy, Ohio

Winston is a friendly cat who loves to sleep on the couch & cuddle with you. He loves being pet and playing with string toys. He’s 8 years old (born on the fourth of july), neutered, and declawed. He is shy around new people & environments, but wants to spend every second with you once he gets to know you. He has a sensitive stomach and needs prescription food or he will throw up/have diarrhea. It is also recommended that he is on anxiety medication, though he’s never been on it before. He would do well in a home that has no other cats & a clean litter box all to himself. When he shares the litter box, or if it’s dirty for too long, he has a tendency to pee outside of the litter box (usually on soft fabrics). He would love to be in a home with someone who wants to cuddle & pet him for hours on end, and will sometimes play for short periods of time. He was adopted from a shelter at 2 years old, so his exact breed is unknown but is definitely a ragdoll mix.

Adopted him about 2 years ago. We recently moved in with my mother who was just diagnosed with Cancer. We need to find him a home. He takes a while to warm up but is a very affectionate and loving boy. Cautious around dogs but if they leave him alone he is fine with them. Good with kids and other cats.

This decision has been made with great care and solely  for medical reasons.  Annie coexists well with other cats and dogs. She can be mildly  assertive (“bossy”) but is non-aggressive and does not engage in  fighting. She communicates her boundaries clearly and thrives in  environments where those cues are respected. She is an affectionate cat on her own terms—she does not enjoy being  picked up or carried, but will choose to cuddle beside her person or  rest in a lap. Annie does well with children who understand animal boundaries and is best suited for a home that allows her autonomy and  space when she signals she is done interacting.  Annie does not like being cornered, which may be related to trauma prior  to her adoption. A calm, patient home is ideal.
