Ragdoll kittens & cats in Leamington, Ontario

Hi… I’m Burrito. I came to the shelter because my people could no longer keep me. I’ve always been an indoor-only kind of guy, and I really like having my own space and routines. I’m an independent boy, but I do enjoy affection… just on my terms. If I’m in the mood, I’ll happily jump into your lap and soak up pets, and I’ll even purr to let you know I’m enjoying it. But if I’m not feeling it, I’ll let you know by moving away—no hard feelings, I just like to set my boundaries. I’m not always a fan of being picked up, and I prefer not to have my tail touched. I’m playful and really enjoy wand toys and interactive games. I especially need people who understand that I have a lot of energy and would do best when I have plenty of enrichment and appropriate things to scratch and climb. Without enough outlets, I can get a little mischievous and may nip at ankles when I’m overstimulated or trying to play. I’ve never lived with children or other cats, but I did live with a dog before. We mostly just sniffed noses and coexisted peacefully. I’m looking for someone who will respect my boundaries, keep me mentally and physically engaged, and appreciate me for the independent, affectionate-on-my-terms cat that I am. You might notice my $50 diva fee! This is because I know I`m going to be popular in taking people`s hearts, so in return, I want to be able to help my fellow fur friends who have been waiting a long time for their FURever homes!
