Story
Oia is a 4-year-old spayed female with a story and a lot of personality. She first showed up in a backyard in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with a small scar on her face and a cautious attitude toward other cats. We took her in, got her fully vaccinated and spayed, and before we knew it, she became part of the family. Unfortunately, with three cats at home and one very dominant cat, Oia hasn’t been able to live her best life. We brought her with us to Washington, D.C. hoping things would improve, but she deserves a calmer environment where she can truly thrive. Oia is sassy, expressive, and confident, but also incredibly sweet as long as you respect her boundaries. She enjoys playing (on her terms), gets the occasional zoomies, and is very food-motivated. She’s low-maintenance, loves lounging next to you while you work, watch TV, or sleep, and makes a great quiet companion. With other cats, she can be a bit spicy at first and may eventually tolerate them, but she would do best as an only cat or in a very patient, cat-savvy home. For this reason, she’d thrive most in a kid-free household. If you’re looking for a cat with personality, attitude, and lots of love to give, Oia might just be your girl 🤍

Story
eet Timon! This charming little feline is the life of the party wherever he goes—a social butterfly in a soft, furry coat. Timon is incredibly friendly and has a special knack for getting along with every one of his littermates. Whether it's a wild chase around the room, a gentle snuggle in the sunbeams, or a game of hide-and-seek in a pile of blankets, Timon brings joy and warmth to every moment. He absolutely adores playtime and is always dreaming up new adventures or mischief to share with his companions. For Timon, companionship is key: to truly thrive and grow into his happiest, silliest self, he needs to be adopted alongside another kitten—a loyal friend to leap, tumble, and nap with him as they discover the world together. If you're searching for a loving, playful, and endlessly affectionate kitty to brighten your days, Timon is ready to steal your heart and fill your home with purrs and laughter.

Story
My daughter adopted Nick from the local SPCA about 4 years ago. When she got him, he was climbing all over his cage, so we named him Nicolas Cage. We call him Nick for short. He had all his shots, was spayed/neutered at that time. She has since moved out and left him here with me. I can't take care of him any longer which is why I am looking to rehome him. He is good with keeping pests away but requires lots of hugs and cuddles. When he doesn't get the attention that he wants, he will tear up your carpet and even spray sometimes. Other than his wanting your attention, he is a good cat. He does not go outdoors; he will not go outdoors! He will only stay inside the house. He doesn't climb on furniture, unless you call for him to lay with you. I was trying to get a picture of him laying down but he just wants me to pick him up. Overall, he's a good cat for a person who loves to cuddle.
