She is a 12 year old rag doll and alley cat. Tuxedo color. She is my mothers cat who is 92 years old and needs to move into Assisted living and cannot take the cat. Needs to be rehoused. She loves the outdoors. She tolerates out her people but really Likes just one person. Has never lived with other cats or dogs. Call me with more details about her.

Story
Kimba has always been skittish. He hides. A lot. He spent the first 8 years of his life with another Ragdoll who passed away from liver failure, leaving him alone. He hid in the closet for a long time. To help him, we bought a kitten and then two years later, adopted another male shorthair. He REALLY got along with the male shorthair. He became an altogether different cat. Now, he's vocal, and visible, and present. He does not jump onto your lap but some people (especially women) can pet him quite a bit. He defers to other cats, to the point where he won't eat until they are full. As a result, of my three, he is the thinnest. The vet says he's healthy, just thin. He has claws but never uses them on the furniture. He likes his scratching posts and those cardboard scratching pads (preferably with catnip). He ignores our dogs. One word of warning. He will decide early on where his litter box should be. Put one there. Don't argue. He prefers covered litter boxes.

Story
Moses is an 8-month old (born 10/17/24) Ragdoll-Snowshoe mix with a love for socializing. He is very curious and high energy (always eager to play!) and loves to snuggle on any available lap. When we adopted him two months ago, we fell in love with him immediately--impossible not to! We need to rehome Moses because he is a personality mismatch with our resident cat; our cat is quite mellow and likes his personal space, and Moses loves to get up close and personal. He would likely do well in a home with other cats, just not our cat. Because he is very social, he needs to go to a home with multiple people and/or companion animals. If you are a single individual or you work at the office the whole day, this isn't a fit. We will only adopt him out to a family that is able to provide high quality food. Cats are obligate carnivores. If you can't provide a meat-based wet food, there are some second-best dry food options. We'll give you his current food to help transition.

Story
Meet Good Gravy9-year-old female RagdollSome stories just break your heart—and Gravy’s is one of them.Good Gravy was surrendered to us through no fault of her own. After spending nine loving years in a home, she suddenly found herself in unfamiliar arms, unsure of what she’d done wrong. Despite the upheaval, Gravy greets each day with grace and hope. This gentle soul is everything you could ask for in a companion: fully litter box trained, spayed, and vaccinated. She’s incredibly easygoing and gets along beautifully with other cats, dogs, and even children.Gravy’s love language is cuddles and quiet companionship. She’s always purring—softly, sweetly—and she’ll chirp at you like a little dove just to say hello. There’s no sass in her, no spice—just softness, patience, and a longing to belong again. She’s the kind of cat who makes your house feel like home, the kind who curls up beside you and quietly mends the broken pieces of your day.She didn’t deserve to lose her family. But maybe… just maybe… she was meant to find you.Adopt Good Gravy. Give her the forever she’s never stopped hoping for.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 27, 2025, 3:29 pm
