⚡🐾 Meet Bitsy: Tiny Dog, BIG Personality! 💛
Meet Bitsy, a tiny spark plug with a whole lot of personality packed into one petite frame! ⚡🐶 At 9–12 months old, this female Rat Terrier appears to be purebred and is still very much in her puppy era: curious, busy, playful, and always ready for her next adventure.
Life didn't start out easy for Bitsy. She spent a lot of her early days in a kennel, but you'd never guess it from the way this little girl loves life. Once she gets comfortable, Bitsy loves hard, plays hard, and keeps everyone entertained! 💕

⚡ A Little Bit of Bitsy
If you're looking for a quiet little lap dog who spends her days napping, Bitsy may have other plans. 😂
This girl is busy! Walks? Absolutely. Toys? Bring them on. Following her people around the house? 100%. She's a little shadow with a big personality and loves being involved in whatever her humans are doing.
And when the zoomies finally run out of fuel? That's when Bitsy turns into a snuggle bug. She loves curling up next to her people and is perfectly happy snoozing right in bed with them. 💤❤️
Bitsy is also quite the chatterbox. She can be quick to announce anything she finds suspicious, including leaves, shadows, squirrels, and apparently anything else that has the audacity to exist near her. 😂🌳🐿️ She's working hard on learning when barking is appropriate, and she's making progress. Her new family will need to continue that training with patience and consistency.
🐕 What About Other Animals?
Bitsy's relationship with other dogs can be a little complicated. Sometimes she comes across as a tiny tough girl, and other times she's unsure or nervous. She may want to play but doesn't always know the most polite way to introduce herself.
Slow introductions, supervision, patience, and giving her a safe place to retreat can make a big difference while she learns to feel confident and comfortable.
With cats, Bitsy is curious and playful, but she does respect their boundaries when they tell her they've had enough. 🐱
👧 Bitsy & Kids
Bitsy does great with kids and absolutely loves playing and handing out kisses! 💋 She's still a young pup learning her manners, though, and her excitement can sometimes turn into jumping or general puppy chaos.
She's improving every day, and a family willing to continue working on her manners will help her become an even better companion.
🏡 Life With Bitsy
Bitsy is kennel trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. 🌙 She's also making great progress with house training. When she's kept on a consistent schedule, she will usually whine to let her people know she needs to head outside.
Like any young dog, Bitsy is still learning the rules of the human world. She'll need continued guidance, consistency, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of appropriate things to chew. Because apparently household treasures occasionally look suspiciously like dog toys. 😉😂
💛 Bitsy's Ideal Home
Bitsy is looking for an active, patient, and consistent home that understands what comes with bringing a young, energetic dog into the family.
Her ideal person will enjoy walks, playtime, training, and all the ridiculous little moments that come with living with a spunky young Rat Terrier. She doesn't need perfection. She needs someone willing to help her learn, give her structure, and celebrate her progress.
In return, you'll get a fun little sidekick who will keep you moving, keep you laughing, and probably keep you informed about every suspicious squirrel within a three-block radius. 😂🐿️
