Story
Bailey is a handsome terrier mix (maybe ratty and Boston??) who got returned to our program after being adopted for 5 years. He is a little timid, but he is super sweet. He takes treats gently from your hands. Let's give this boy a second chance at forever! From his foster Dad - Bailey can be low key most of the time. It took a while to get him to go out in the yard, but now he loves it. He will fuss with the others at the neighbor's dogs. He also seems to want to patrol the fence, as if it's his duty. He comes in when called. He gets excited a meal time, and will dash to his spot. At times, he has had issues with the other foster dogs but usually he wants to hang out with them. He still has some nervousness and may snip in fear if scared so someone with a gentle approach is needed and young kids would not be a good match. He does like being petted and he likes napping on the sofa, the arm of my chair, or the big blue pet bed!To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

Story
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies and other core vaccinations. Please complete an adoption application at https://www.asvtexas.org/adoption-application.html. Teddy is such a good boy.  He plays well with other dogs, gets along well with cats and is great with children.  He loves playing with toys, but also likes to relax and snuggle.  He is the perfect little dog and deserves to find his forever home!ASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. No one takes a salary so all donations and grants are used for the rescue animals. April 30, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
Mokey is super sweet and laid back - her personality is just starting to shine in her foster home now that she is feeling better after a dental that left her happier but with only 4 teeth now. She loves a nice cuddly bed. Mokey is blind and has partial hearing loss but she has NO fear in exploring her surroundings. She IS not a fan of the cold - smile! Mokey knows how to use the dog door to get back in the house after she goes potty! She can even find the couch on her own so being blind is nothing to her. She is pretty independent but does enjoy getting pets. She is still coming out of her shell. To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
