Story
Meet Odie!Odie is a sweet and energetic boy looking for his forever home! He adores meeting new human friends and thrives on companionship. He has separation anxiety, so a family that can be with him for most of the day is essential. Odie has a zest for life and would love to join you on your outdoor adventures.Odie has lots of energy which sometimes makes him jumpy. With that said, he would do best in a home without children. He would benefit from additional training to channel his energy and brush up on his manners. Activities such as nose work would be highly beneficial to keep his active mind stimulated.Odie can be reactive to other large dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home. Continued training to help manage his reactivity on walks will be important in his new home. Although with slow and proper introductions, Odie may be able to make friends with other small breed dogs. If you're ready to give Odie the love, structure, and exercise he needs, he can't wait to meet you! 💙🐾Do you think you could be Odie's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs. Story
💗🐾Meet Magnus: The Heartfelt Hound in Search of HomeHey there, I'm Magnus, and I've got a tale to tell. I may be a senior pup, but don't let that fool you - I've got a twinkle in my eye and a bounce in my step, especially when there's a scent to follow or a cozy spot to curl up in. So, if you're in the market for a furry friend who's equal parts cute and spunk, and a whole lot of love to give, then look no further. I'm ready to snuggle my way into your heart. Will you be the one to give me the happily ever after I've been dreaming of? **Personality Traits:**- Magnus is an energetic Coonhound who loves nothing more than a good romp in the yard or a gofer to chase.- Magnus is picky with other dogs, and prefers two legged company. - Magnus is a smart-cookie - give him the hardest puzzles and you'll be amazed at how quickly he will solve them.**Ideal Home:**- Magnus is seeking a home where his bark & exuberance will be appreciated and celebrated.- He will shine with his very own fenced yard or acreage. - He thrives on mental and physical stimulation, so puzzle toys, interactive games, and plenty of playtime will keep him happy and engaged.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Rust Weight: 40.6 Age: 9yrs 10mths 0wks
