Story
Rufus boy is an 8 month old hootin' hound dog! Only joking on the hootin' part, as we've yet to hear him howl. But we are sure he's got it in him somewhere! Just as you might think, Rufus is a sensitive boy; despite weighing about 50 pounds currently, he would seriously let a fly tell him what to do. He meets every human with happiness, joy, and a bit of shyness - and he meets other animals with a calm, and gentle approach, in a way that expresses he only wants to be friends, and be no harm to anyone. Rufus loves snuggling, if that's not already apparent - and despite his initial shyness with people, he warmed right up to all of us here within a few minutes, and he's been well on his way since! Rufus lived in a home for the majority of his life, so he is crate-trained, and mostly house-broken when kept on a schedule. He is all around such a phenomenal dog, who deserves patience, and love all around. He knows all basic commands, and he are hard at work on teaching him the basics of leash-walking gently. If you love yourself some hound dogs, you need to come meet him!
