Story
What's better than a shiny red coat, the happiest grin, and big velvety ears? Pennie has it all! Pennie is a 2-year old, mixed-breed Hound. While she has the classic hunting dog look, the only thing hound about Pennie is her hootin' and hollerin'. But she doesn’t show any of that famous Hound barking inside the household, unless there is a visitor at the door and she calms down quickly. Pennie has captured many hearts since she arrived at the Humane Society of Oldham County. On her very first day here, she was giving out hugs and all the loving she had to offer! Aside from being stunning, Pennie is an intelligent, gentle, fun-loving girl. She has been known to be a little stubborn at times, but is eager to please and responds well to structure. Pennie has enjoyed playtime here at HSOC with other dogs who share her energy level and size. A meet and greet is required for any potential doggy friends in the home. When cat-tested, Pennie was hissed at and she walked away unbothered. In a home setting, Pennie was fond of chasing cats. We believe she could be trained out of her love for the chase! Pennie is more than ready for her forever home! Meet Pennie at The Humane Society of Oldham county today!

Clyde was a part of a litter born to a sire and dam that I still have. His brothers and sisters were bought over a year ago and he and one brother are left. I have hunted him some and he does fairly well but I do not have time for him. He is full of energy and is very well mannered.
