Story
Susie is the sweetest of the sweet, a true treat as rich and comforting as the finest dessert. Calm, fully trained, and full of quiet charm, Susie is beginning to truly blossom in her foster home. While she still loves to play, she moves at a gentler pace than the younger pups and prefers plenty of cozy snuggle time with her favorite humans, happily asking for more affection when she wants it. Most days, Susie can be found napping peacefully on the couch or happily chewing on a bone. She enjoys soaking up the sunshine outdoors, often rolling on her back with pure joy, especially if a human friend is nearby. Her loving spirit shines brighter each day as she patiently waits for her forever family. Susie is a senior Redbone Coonhound/Lab mix who was was born approximately 3-17-15 and weighs 54 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, is heartworm positive and will require strict adherence to monthly Heartguard and Doxycycline. Heartworms are not contagious to other pets or people.  Adoption fee is $250 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.  ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily. All information regarding adoption policies are on our website***
