LISA FRANK 💔 Wants love so badly… she just doesn’t know how to ask for it yet. Lisa Frank came in as a stray, and while the shelter is overwhelming for her right now, we can already see the sweet girl hiding underneath the fear. She’s nervous and unsure, but you can tell she wants to connect — she just isn’t quite sure how yet. Like so many shelter dogs, we truly believe once she’s out and able to decompress, she’s going to open up in a huge way. There’s something incredibly precious about this girl… the way she watches, wants to socialize, and quietly hopes someone kind will give her a chance. She doesn’t need someone expecting perfection on day one. She needs someone patient, loving, and willing to show her that the world can be safe again. Once she realizes she’s finally okay, we have no doubt Lisa Frank is going to blossom into an amazing companion. Please don’t let fear make her invisible. The sweetest dogs are often the ones who just needed someone to believe in them first. 🥺🐾 PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. March 19, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
Hello, my name is: LolaApprox. DOB: 12/19/2024Weight: 55 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female redbone coonhound mixRescued From: Found strayLola’s path to rescue was one no living being should have to endure. She was found roaming as a stray, clearly let down by people in the past. When she was finally captured and brought to safety, an unimaginable horror was discovered - Lola had been shot in the face. The worse part? The wounds had healed on their own, leaving broken and cracked teeth behind. We were completely heartbroken thinking of the pain she must have endured and how scared she must have been fending for herself with such an injury. She’s all fixed up now, and ready for kindness and love. After everything she’s been through, you would expect her to hold a grudge, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Lola LIVES to be loved. She is incredibly affectionate and happy, tail often wagging. She’s one of those dogs that seems to peer into your soul when she makes eye contact. Lola is a lower energy kind of girl. She loves to sleep wherever she lands – on a dog bed, in a sunspot in the grass, on the patio under the table… she can nap anywhere! Now that she knows she is safe and doesn’t have to be on alert 24/7, she has really embraced the art of relaxing. As the days pass, her energy level is ticking up a bit, but she is still pretty low-key. Lola is not a clingy dog, but she likes to be close. Her foster mom says she is right next to perfect: house trained, doesn’t jump up, calm, rarely barks, sleeps through the night without a peep, and does well on leash. Lola loves ear scratches, belly rubs, being talked to, a good nap, a bedtime treat, and any and all mealtimes. She would do best in a home where someone is home a lot, and with a fenced yard to enjoy. She also loves other dogs and gets along beautifully with them.Lola is an absolute dream and deserves a devoted family that will keep her safe and make her feel loved. Please help us find this beautiful girl the forever home she so desperately deserves! Story
Our dog was found in Tennessee. Then was placed with a foster family until we rescued and adopted him at around a year and a half old. We’ve had him for a 2.5 years now. He's a redbone coonhound mix at around 60 pounds. We’re having a difficult time with his aggression. He has snapped at my husband and myself before. We also have a small toddler in the house and we're nervous of him snapping at our son. We were originally told that he's good with kids, but we're unsure. The vet has medicated him now for about 2-3 months on prozac. He loves to greet humans and dogs with kisses. He is very loving. We're just having issues with him resource guarding and anxiety induced aggression.
