Story
Meet Ginger 🐾 Ginger is a sweet red-boned hound who was found running loose near Exit 440. Life hasn’t always been kind to her, and she’s still learning that humans can be safe. Right now, she’s very shy and easily scared—but beneath that timid exterior is a tender, loving soul just waiting to bloom. Ginger weighs about 36 pounds and does best as an inside-only dog. She’s currently healing from a wound caused by a tight collar, and with care and kindness, she’s already beginning to relax. She’s working on trusting people and learning housetraining, making slow but meaningful progress each day. What Ginger needs most is a patient, calm forever home—one that will move at her pace, celebrate the small wins, and show her through consistency and love that she’s finally safe. She may not rush up for attention right away, but once she trusts you, the bond will be incredibly special. If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to help a shy hound heal, Ginger could be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for. 💕
