Kiwi came to us with her friend Canela (A051884) after their owner sadly passed away, and she’s been quietly winning hearts ever since. She’s easy to leash up and take out, and she walks nicely on a leash without pulling. In the play yard, Kiwi is mostly calm, chill, and independent. She’s happy to do her own thing…with the occasional surprise burst of short, silly zoomies that’ll make you smile! She doesn’t seem to know any tricks just yet and isn’t very motivated by treats or toys, though she will politely investigate toys when you toss them (even if she decides they’re not worth the effort).

Hello my name is King Big Baby! I was born in September of 2023 and was rescued by my current family as a Christmas present a few months later. My family had no idea what breed I was or even how big I would get! I out grew the yard currently in a year ago so I really dont get the zoomies! Just call me Good Boy, because that I am! I get along with other dogs, who want to get along with me. Children love me, however I can be a bit ruff for small children! I think I am a small dog. I do not chew shoes or furniture! But will demolish a pet bed left in my crate over night!! I come from a black family they do not play those games! I learned early with the older lady of the house where to potty. My home is inside but my heart lies outdoors! I was breed to hunt, run and dig but I dont get to do those things. You see my mom works a lot and is very tired when she gets home! She promised me that she would find a better home! So I guess this is her way of keeping her word! - King
