Luna is a large mixed breed girl weighing approximately 61 lbs. She is possibly a Redbone Coonhound/Lab/German Shepherd (coloring) mix. She is looking for her permanent home. We have been fostering her for 8 weeks. She came into San Antonio Pets Alive from City of San Antonio Animal Care Services. Luna is young (10 months to one year old). She is spayed, house trained, friendly with people and other dogs (keep food/treats separated). She is very active while outdoors and needs daily exercise. In the house she will be your companion and wants to be near you. Luna knows basic commands such as sit, down and we are working on heeling on the leash and stay. She is extremely smart and confident, she will make a wonderful family or companion dog. On a side note, I took her to be evaluated for search and rescue. While she is very play focused while in our yard, when she was in a large, unknown area, she wanted to search and not play with her toy. Trainers did tests (noise and walking on unknown surfaces) and she passed. Noises do not bother her and she will walk on difficult surfaces with no problem.

I'm Big Red, a 1-year-old Shepherd mix with Coonhound and Redbone heritage, and I'm ready to bring some serious energy to your life! 🐕 At 70 pounds of red i am strong and mahogany magnificence, I'm an energetic guy who loves to play and explore — perfect for an active household that can match my enthusiasm. I'm not yet neutered, so that's something to plan for after adoption. My adoption fee is just $50, and I'm waiting to meet the family that's ready for a high-spirited adventure! Come say hello — I've got a whole lot of living to do with you. 🎾❤️
