Meet River—a Smart, Playful Young CompanionRiver is 1 year and 3 months old, weighs approximately 45 pounds, and is looking for an active, loving home. The reason for finding River a new home is that he chases our cats. He needs a home without cats, where he can enjoy being himself and everyone can feel comfortable.River is very smart, playful, and high energy. He is trained both on and off leash, walks well, and is crate-trained. He enjoys walks, loves chasing birds, and would benefit from another compatible dog who enjoys playing as much as he does. Daily exercise, companionship, and plenty of time with his people will help him thrive. For someone who enjoys an active dog and has time to share with him, River will be an awesome companion. We’re looking for the right match to give this young boy a wonderful future.

Story
🐾 Meet Peanut! ❤️ Peanut is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Hound mix who was surrendered through no fault of her own. She’s a super sweet girl who loves being around her people, soaking up affection, and playing! 🥰 Peanut is nervous in the shelter, so she’ll need slow introductions, patience, and time to feel comfortable and show her true personality. Once bonded, she’s a loving, loyal companion who wants to be part of your world. Peanut is also very protective of her home and people. She’ll let you know when someone is nearby! She would thrive in a home that understands her breed, appreciates her protective traits, and can provide the guidance, structure, and love she needs. 🏡❤️ 🐶 Dogs: Known to get along with other dogs, but this is not guaranteed. Slow introductions are recommended. 🐱 Cats: Known to chase cats and not do well with them. A cat-free home is best. 👧 Children: Known to do well with children but will need slow introductions. Peanut is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her time to come out of her shell. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, loyal girl who loves her people and keeps an eye on her home, Peanut might just be your girl! 💕

Story
We adopted bagheera as a puppy from responsible breeders in south idaho. She is a purebred bloodhound and an absolute gentle giant. We love her and are heartbroken to part with her. However we have another older dog, a small boston terrior, who has become very agressive with other animals and given the size difference when she provokes bagheera it is not a safe environment for either dog and the smaller dog is just to old for us to try to rehome. She is very protective over her family but she has no record of biting others, she just will howl loudly if she percieves her family is in danger. She doesn't like strange dogs and given her strong prey instinct she would not be a good housemate for small animals like cats. She is a true lazy hound dog and wants to really just lay around the house, go for a walk, be loved on and pet as much as possible and eat all the scraps she can find. She is house trained and kennel trained. Very sweet companion.
