Story
Meet Sassy, She is an older gal with a heart of gold. Though Sassy prefers to be the center of attention and is new to sharing love. She gets a long great with dogs in the home and corrects easily when a boundary is set. Sassy has been around a couple kids but is a timid around fast movements or loud noises. Her defense is to bark, but she is won over by treats and gentle pats. While we don't have a history of her living with cats, she's shown no forward behavior when introduced to them. She wants to be a lap dog and is really loving with people. She's adapting well in her foster home but is seeking a loving family who will love her well into her retirement years. Apply to meet Sassy, today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Mr. Moose! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'pray' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Moose has previously lived harmoniously with multiple cats, kids, and dogs. He is full of energy and zest, making him the perfect companion for an active household. He gets the cute zoomies when he's outside. Moose would thrive in a home with a large backyard or even some land where he can run freely. Given his occasional loudness, he’s better suited to a house rather than an apartment. He needs a space that allows him to express his energetic nature without restrictions. He gets a bit nervous inside the home with loud noises. He really thrives when he's outside. Ensuring he has a solid outlet for his energy throughout the day will help keep him happy and healthy. He does well and is quiet in his kennel when people are away. If he's not in his kennel, he gets quite anxious and tends to be a little loud. Whether it's through long walks, playtime in the yard, or adventurous hikes, Moose will be the loyal and lively companion you’re looking for. He'll graduate towards the end of May, apply to meet him today!
