Roxie is not in the care of Big Sky and the information is that of the shelter.  If you are interested in the beautiful, smiley young girl, please contact the shelter the information is belowRoxie is a sweet girl who is about one and a half year old. She has a medium energy level and would probably do best in a home with a 6 ft fenced-in yard. She loves to run in the yard and play fetch. Roxy is a little shy and selective so would do best in a home with no children and with a patient, experienced dog owner.  She walks well on a lead and all staff have no difficulty with her. Roxie is having kennel stress having been raised in a home.  We are having a hard time keeping weight on her due to the stressPlease call the shelter at 719-543-6464 to set up an appointment to meet herVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 10, 2024, 12:00 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hoss is being listed as a referrral to get more exposure to people looking for a Rottweiler.  He is NOT in the care of Big Sky and all information comes from his owner. Hoss is a super cuddly dog that just wants constant attention and love. He would do best with a single owner and someone that doesn't have other animals especially dogs. He is very laid back but still likes to play tag and run around with a dirt bike tire.  He does not like male dogs and is becoming aggressive around our female when food or toys are involved.  Since we have young children, we don't want to take the chance on this being an issue with them in the future.    Hoss is in Billings, MTIf you are interested in this handsome boy, please contact:CalubThilmony Cell Phone: 4064070055 Email: Calubthilmony@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 10, 2024, 12:00 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocky is being listed as a referral and is NOT in the care of the Big Sky Rottweiler foster program.  He is being listed to help find him a new home and the information is that of his current owner. Rocky is a gorgeous  intact male dog who needs to be neutered and current owner said she would prior to adoption.  He has some behavioral issues at this time.  He is NOT nuetered and is entering his terrible twos and is not getting the time needed to work with him to make him the Rottie he can be.  Here is the information providedHello, thank you so much for getting back to me. I am looking to re-home for a couple of reasons. He is a very sweet dog, but he doesn’t like a lot of other dogs; other than the ones we have in our home (chihuahua) whom he adores and is very protective of. So essentially, he is a family dog. Extremely loyal and protective but loving with most people who I accept into my home (although we do start off introductions with a muzzle) My husband does not want to carry the liability of a Rottweiler, he has expressed his concern for this and believes that the dog is potentially very dangerous and could wind up putting everything we’ve worked for at stake. It’s been a point of contention between us, so much so that now there is talk of divorce. On top of this my husband is extremely allergic to his saliva and breaks out in welts so further training is difficult for him. Unfortunately now that divorce is on the table, I also am the main caregiver of our son and my family lives in a different state. Our Rottie is not welcome in their house because of previous attacks between dogs and so me being able to be with my family for support through this time is difficult, travel is difficult as each time I drive between homes is 16hrs which I simply cannot do. I love this dog so much, he is a wonderful companion and such a lover. We are bonded but my life is changing rapidly and I fear I do not have the energy, time or space for him because it is interfering with me being able to take care of me in my time of need. I am not in a rush to rehome him because I really want to find the right home for him. I do not want to find him being discarded or mistreated. I know he needs a real owner who is willing and able to take on the commitment these dogs require. And a stable enough home to keep him for the rest of his life.He is not yet neutered, we are planning on neutering next month. He is updated on his shots, though we have chose not to do boosters. He recently got his rabies shot and had extreme diarrhea so we are cautious with quantity of shots in a short period.Rocky is located in Couer De Lane, Idaho, so you will need to contact his current owner to adopt and get more informationContact:Name: Giovanna FabianiHome Phone: (415) 574-1633Email: Fabiani.Giovanna@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 10, 2024, 12:00 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Shakari is NOT a foster of Big Sky.  She is being listed to help get her adopted.  The informatio is that of her current owner. The mom is full rottweiler and their dad is Rottweiler, German Shepard & Bloodhound mix. She loves kids, adults, dogs, and curious about cats. She is very lovable and sweet. Shakari loves to cuddle, and loves to go after your feet & ankles more than Luna but is not biting, just playing). She currently uses a dog door. When Shakari was about 5 weeks old Mishka stepped on her back left leg and fractured it. The vets say that she will always favor that leg, but I haven't seen her doing that as of yet.I have 27 grandchildren and one great granddaughter and they have never been hurt by the dogs. The vet said to let it heal on its own. I removed her from the liter and bottle fed her for about 3 weeks. I had the vet check her every time we went in and he said it feels like its healing fine, movement was good.If you are interested in this beautiful young girl, please contact her current owner Name: Suzi Payton Home Phone: (801) 664-9595 Email: suzistockpayton@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 10, 2024, 12:00 am
