Story
Max is a graduate of our dog training program at Northeastern New Mexico Correctional Facility. His handler writes: Hello, I'm Max, and I would like to tell you a little about myself, and hopefully you'll take me home with you. I know I'm part boxer but unsure of what else I am. I will admit I am shy in the beginning, but once I get to know you, I am the goofiest, most playful, loving, and loyal dog you'll ever meet, especially if you give me treats. I'll do all kinds of tricks for meats or sweets, and the tricks I know are sit, lie down, stay, left shake, right shake, high fives, knucks, bow, play dead or "bang," sit pretty (but I need a little assistance with that, as my balance is off), left spin, and right spin. I absolutely love getting the top of my head scratched, along with my neck and butt. I am housetrained, so you don't have to worry about me going to the bathroom in the house. I would be great for a family, as I do not bark or bite or jump on people, and I play well with other dogs, too. I do not like loud noises, and I'm not too fond of fast-moving objects, either, and that's pretty much it for dislikes. The last thing I think you should know is I'll cuddle with you all day if you let me, and who could say no to this face? I know I couldn't if I were you. Please take me to my new home. Maximus Goofapodimus out. :)

Story
Diamond is a graduate of our dog training program at Northeastern New Mexico Correctional Facility. Her handler writes: "Diamond loves to play with balls and chew bones. She can be a little lively in the morning, but she listens very well, and the longer you spend time with her, the more she will understand you and learn. She will wait for you by the door if you go anywhere. She hates being alone. She loves attention and can become very protective. All in all, she is a good dog who will play all day long. Thank you for considering her."
