Story
This cute girl is quite spunky and ready to romp and play at the drop of a hat.  She does have a sweet and sleepy side too!  She is good with other dogs.  She is a little too interested in cats so that would be something to keep in mind.  She learns pretty fast and is food motivated.  She will grow up to be a big girl so will need appropriate training. October 24, 2024, 12:50 pm

Story
Meet Romeo. This sweet and active boy is about 3 years old. We think he is a Rottweiler mix. He gets along great with other dogs and was ok with the clinic cats but they didn't run from him so he may chase them if they run. Romeo is a very strong dog and is high energy so he will need a big secure yard and an active family. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Unfortunately he has tested Positive for Heartworms so we are currently treating him. We will pay for his treatment if you are interested in adopting him. He currently weighs 61 pounds and is $85 to adopt.

These pups are in Enid, Oklahoma too!

Story
We got "Simon" from an out of area animal control after he was removed from a property with several other dogs. "Simon" does not trust people, and he does have physical scars as well as internal scars. "Simon" needs, time, patience, and understanding. He's actually a little comical in his kennel when he's trying to intimidate you with his barking while his tail is wagging a million miles a minute waiting for you to expose a hidden treat. The key to gaining "Simon's" acceptance of you is treats, and thankfully, he never seems to lose interest in treats. No matter how much you give him. This guy is young, and shouldn't only know what his life once was, or life in a kennel. If you have a soft spot for the more special pups, please come meet "Simon." The kennels are open Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm - 3 pm, and submit your application at enidspca.org.

Story
"Dexter" was a pull from Animal Welfare. To be completely honest, he was pulled because of the fact he isn't a dog people will look at and say, "Yes, that's the dog we want!" He's a little awkward looking. He has mangey skin. He smells because of his skin issues. He's older. Even though he has some "strikes," to us, "Dexter" is a deserving dog. He is quiet and polite in his kennel. He knows basic commands. He's eager to listen and learn (especially when treats are involved), and he's definitely a gentle and kind guy. If you're in the market for an older man, who will go with the flow, then you should come and meet "Dexter." Kennels are open Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm - 3 pm, and submit your application at enidspca.org.
