Rescued from Walmart as a young, energetic pup, Tamera was one of the lucky ones- a Helpless Hound who found her way out of the rescue system and into a home of her own. Unfortunately, sometimes even good matches don't last forever. Through no fault of her own, Tamera has found herself back in need of a soft place to land. She's about seven months old now, happy, healthy, and still full of that bright, curious energy that makes young hounds so irresistible. She's house trained, crate trained, and knows her basics- sit, stay, go to bed. She's playful, affectionate, and always ready to greet new people with a wag and a grin. What she needs next is someone ready to build on that foundation- someone patient, steady, and experienced enough to guide her through the last bits of puppyhood into the confident, well-adjusted hound she's meant to be. She already had her first chance at love- now she’s hoping for her last. Could that be with you?

My son brought home this sweet boy when he was just a few weeks old. Unfortunately my son is not responsible enough to have a dog and we are so busy so we are unable to give him the time he needs to properly train him. He is 54% Rottweiler 22% pit 12% Siberian husky and 11% Great Pyrenees. He is a big boy the pulls and jumps. He has been great with our yorkies but has not been around other animals much. He did chase a cat once but didn’t catch it. He would be a great dog for anyone willing to train him.
