About 4 years ago, my husband and I took in a cat from a family member. We were told she is good with other animals but the family would be leaving her to fend for herself when they moved. So, with that, we took Katniss home the very next day. It has been a long 4 years for us but we don’t want to stop fighting for Katniss. Every year that has passed, my husband and I have hoped she would settle into our home and relax in the safe environment we have been providing. We have two amazingly patient dogs that have learned her quirks and respect her boundaries. They have been very welcoming for her from the first day. But Katniss is fierce and fickle. Katniss is the sweetest cat at times, very social and outgoing, but her moods switch in a moments notice and she will attack people and our two dogs in seconds. It has been a long road for us and I feel that our home environment may not be the right fit for her. I feel that Katniss would be able to relax and thrive in a single pet, quiet home.

We bought this cat for my mom when she was battling stage 4 breast cancer. This cat stuck by my mom's side until her last breath. My mom sadly passed away February 19. Our very first option was to ask our landlord if we can bring a cat and unfortunately neither of them said we can. Penelope is a very sweet house cat. She’s been outside three times and with that she’s only been by the front door and ran back inside. She loves to be pet and give cuddles. She is so smart and trained.

She has large sea green eyes and a black nose. Alice is a sweetheart with the loudest purr motor. She enjoys playing with toys and perching on the window sill to watch ‘live squirrel and bird TV.’ Alice is a big fan of pets, chin and head scratches, and belly rubs. She will do well in a home with other friendly (non-aggressive) Cats. Alice is a gentle, friendly Cat who likes to explore the house and check things out. Alice will be a bit shy at first but will warm up as she gets used to her new surroundings and new family. She is so happy to be off the streets and now living indoors with her foster Mom.
