This Grey boy has been fostered by me and boyfriends family, he’s 1 out of five and all siblings look different. Him specifically is really playful and healthy, he likes to be a solo cat but doesn’t necessarily like to be alone. he’s good with other cats and if you are prepared for a big cat personality he’s an amazing cat to have :), he needs everything a kitten needs which is why no adoption fee just needs a good home.

🐾 Meet Sophie! 🐾 Hey there, friends! My name is Sophie, and I'm a 1&1/2 year old female Siamese Russian Blue mix with short hair. I may be young, but I've got quite the story to tell. You see, life hasn't always been kind to me. I was abandoned at a colony when I was pregnant, left all alone without anyone to care for me. But then, Oreo's Haven came into my life and changed everything. They scooped me up and gave me the shelter and safe place I needed to hav e my beautiful kittens. They took care of me like the queen that I am. I was spayed, received all my vaccinations, got a microchip, and was tested to make sure I was healthy. After all that, I thought I had found my happily ever after when I was adopted. But alas, things didn't quite work out. My new owner decided that they didn't have the time to give me the love and attention I deserve. So here I am, my friends, a sweet muffin-making girl, desperately searching for a loving forever home that I can finally call my own. I may have had a rough start, but I haven't let it dampen my spirits. I'm still overflowing with love and ready to shower it upon my new family. Kafka is a beautiful Russian Blue female who is approximately seven years old. She enjoys a nice calm environmen and will do best in a home without small children or a lot of commotion. She is used to being an indoor/outdoor cat and gets along great with other female cats, but is not a big fan of males. She is a very smart, conversational meower and an excellent purrer. Kafka can be a little slol,please calw to warm up and isn't the biggest cuddler, but she surely enjoys a nice brushing and petting session. Kafka is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. Micky loves to be around people and has only been an indoor cat so far. He is a ball of energy and loves to play. One of his favorite pastimes is chasing his tail. When he is tuckered out he loves to sleep with his human and cuddle up close. A coworker noticed her in our parking lot on a hot Tuesday morning 8/22/23. I quickly coaxed her from under the car, stashed her in a coworker's office while I got my emergency carrier, then took her home with me. No microchip, not spayed, with a slight limp, clearly abandoned since my office is close to the Martinez animal shelter. Maisey can be very affectionate and friendly, purrs a lot, and greets new people. But she has some past trauma because she will occasionally smack w/o nails. Leading me to think that she lived with small children who poked and pulled and were too rough with her. I've seen the same behavior before. She also has a pronounced limp in her back right leg. Xrays were clear, which suggests a recent soft tissue injury. My guess... a child hurt her, she retaliated, and then she was dumped at the Shelter outside. None of which was her fault, and she certainly didn't deserve that. So it was a blessing that I rescued her since she needs a little extra patience and TLC to regain trust which she wouldn't have gotten in a shelter environment. During my years of rescue, I've found that adult cats outside for long period of time do not know how to play. But Maisey does, so she must have been an indoor-kitty recently and being dumped outside was a bit traumatizing. Because of past experiences, she is not a good candidate for children; and would be best adopted to an experienced cat person or someone who is willing to be patient and accept her on 'her terms'.  She so wants to be loved! She likes to hang out with me while I am working in my home-office, after a busy period of walking all over my desk and laptop, in and out of my lap, rubbing her head against my hand for pets.  Maisey really really really loves canned and raw food. She has a cute little chirp, and gets very excited at breakfast and dinner time. She has gained half-a-pound since I rescued her, so she was definitely under weight. She is pretty mellow during the day, curls up in a donut-bed and snoozes most of the day. Has the typical adult cat behavior of being more active in the morning and evenings. And she just likes to hang out, be in the same room as me. At the moment, that is my home-office where she can also people-watch out the front window if she wants.
