Story
Meet Elmer, the handsome gray gentleman with a big personality, an even bigger appetite, and absolutely no concept of an indoor voice!
This silly boy has a lot to say, and he's more than happy to share his thoughts with anyone willing to listen. Breakfast running late? Unacceptable. Treat bag making noise? He's already on his way. Elmer takes his meals very seriously and considers himself the official food quality inspector of the kitten room. He hasn't met a snack he didn't like, and he's always available for taste testing.
When he's not busy monitoring the kitchen, Elmer is a playful little goofball who loves attention and making people laugh with his silly antics. He's got plenty of kitten energy and is always ready for some fun, but his favorite place might just be your lap. Once he's finished with his very important kitten business, he'll happily curl up with you and soak up all the pets and cuddles you're willing to offer.
With his sweet nature, hilarious commentary, and talent for turning any lap into his personal throne, Elmer is the perfect combination of entertainment and affection. If you're looking for a kitten who will keep you laughing, remind you when it's dinner time, and happily snuggle up afterward, Elmer is ready to move in. Just make sure the snack cabinet is fully stocked!

The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around December 5th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet.
Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care.
We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport.
Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption.
We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
